In other fandom happenings, it has been officially confirmed that Misha Collins has been, once again, signed on as a series regular for the ninth season of Supernatural. About time.

The Oscars were last night, but I didn't watch. While I'm disappointed that The Hobbit didn't win anything, I am ecstatic that Jennifer Lawrence won for Best Actress! I just love her so much. Girl has been slaying everywhere this season, winning all the awards. She rightfully deserves them, too, given she's very talented and puts a lot of effort into the projects she works on. Plus she's totally adorable and completely down-to-earth and, despite little embarrassing mishaps, she doesn't take herself seriously and has the full love and support of everyone around her, including her family (all who glomped her after her win, d'awww.) The fact that she's now an Oscar winner is quite impressive and very well-deserved. Congrats, bb gurl. ♥

++ For anyone who hasn't read it yet: Joss Whedon's "thank you" message to his fans, remaining ever so witty yet heartwarming at the same time. ♥

++ Nikita gets renewed for a third season! \O/ I am so relieved, like you wouldn't believe. Unfortunately, Ringer (along with The Secret Circle) have been canceled.

++ Pretty Little Liars season 3 promo. Some spoilers though for those who haven't caught up with the show yet, since it reveals who was unveiled as 'A' at the end of last season. It's strange, the second season didn't end that long ago and suddenly we're approaching the third season in a few weeks. Judging from the promo it's going to be good, particularly with characters dealing with certain events that took place in the finale, and also more mysteries to be revealed. Oh my precious show, I could never ever quit you. *pets*

++ Misha Collins proving, yet again, on how he's the most kindhearted perfect human being ever. ♥ ♥ ♥

...Also, this might just be my fangirl brain talking, but I desperately would love to see Misha Collins and Joss Whedon doing something together. I don't care if it's a charity thing like with Random Acts or if it's a project of some kind. You just know that Joss would immediately get a mancrush on Misha just like he did with Nathan Fillion, and thus he would have him be in all things therefore Misha will be expanded beyond the CW and just, yeah. Idk. I just want that to happen at some point, because I feel it would be awesome for both of them. Never mind how awesome it would be to see Misha in Joss Whedony things. yes I am a shameless fangirl idgaf

++ My laptop contracted a very nasty virus. It took hours to get rid of, and while it's gone now everything got screwed up. I've dealt with viruses before but the inconvenience of it plus having to reinstall nearly everything is a pain in the ass. Not gonna lie, that frustration feeling always happens whenever this occurs. There are still things that need to be done but I'm leaving it alone for right now, and I'm using my desktop computer which, I have still use regardless (it holds a lot more than my laptop) but I realize that Tumblr moves really slowly on it. Like, my scroll bar thinks I'm moving it so the bar itself gets smaller and smaller and I can't even move or see anything on my dash. Yeah, I know, worrying about the things that really matter in life, right?

++ Seeing pictures of Misha, Vicki and West in Pasadena with the GISHWHES people being silly and random and adorable makes me very happy. Jealous and happy.

++ The more and more I see of The Hunger Games, the more and more I am anticipating next year.

++ Thanksgiving wasn't really eventful, but these days it never is anymore. I went out to lunch but that's about it, really. Much like Halloween it's not a holiday we celebrate unless there's a particular reason to. Christmas, however, is entirely different story altogether. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. It's my favorite time of the year. ♥

MISHA COLLINS TO GUEST-STAR ON RINGER

The details of his role seem to be good, he looks to be a critical aspect of the story between Bridget and Siobhan, so I'm hoping that his role is recurring rather than just a one-episode kind of deal. But regardless, I'm incredibly happy that he's getting other roles and is back in the auditioning circuit. This makes me hope that he'll be getting other guest-starring roles, like for instance I want Misha to make an appearance on Nikita, or perhaps The Vampire Diaries. I am still crossing my fingers for the possibility of Doctor Who.....

Essentially, I just want Misha to become the next Mark Sheppard. ^_^
