++ For anyone who hasn't read it yet: Joss Whedon's "thank you" message to his fans, remaining ever so witty yet heartwarming at the same time. ♥

++ Nikita gets renewed for a third season! \O/ I am so relieved, like you wouldn't believe. Unfortunately, Ringer (along with The Secret Circle) have been canceled.

++ Pretty Little Liars season 3 promo. Some spoilers though for those who haven't caught up with the show yet, since it reveals who was unveiled as 'A' at the end of last season. It's strange, the second season didn't end that long ago and suddenly we're approaching the third season in a few weeks. Judging from the promo it's going to be good, particularly with characters dealing with certain events that took place in the finale, and also more mysteries to be revealed. Oh my precious show, I could never ever quit you. *pets*

++ Misha Collins proving, yet again, on how he's the most kindhearted perfect human being ever. ♥ ♥ ♥

...Also, this might just be my fangirl brain talking, but I desperately would love to see Misha Collins and Joss Whedon doing something together. I don't care if it's a charity thing like with Random Acts or if it's a project of some kind. You just know that Joss would immediately get a mancrush on Misha just like he did with Nathan Fillion, and thus he would have him be in all things therefore Misha will be expanded beyond the CW and just, yeah. Idk. I just want that to happen at some point, because I feel it would be awesome for both of them. Never mind how awesome it would be to see Misha in Joss Whedony things. yes I am a shameless fangirl idgaf

I think it's been proven that Misha will act the hell out of any role he is given, no matter what it is or whether it'll be recurring or just a small guest-spot.

Spoilers for Ringer (Misha's parts only)... )

According to certain sources, last night's episode brought the ratings up, not by a whole lot mind you but it's something. Better to be going up a little instead of down or remaining in a standstill.

MISHA COLLINS TO GUEST-STAR ON RINGER

The details of his role seem to be good, he looks to be a critical aspect of the story between Bridget and Siobhan, so I'm hoping that his role is recurring rather than just a one-episode kind of deal. But regardless, I'm incredibly happy that he's getting other roles and is back in the auditioning circuit. This makes me hope that he'll be getting other guest-starring roles, like for instance I want Misha to make an appearance on Nikita, or perhaps The Vampire Diaries. I am still crossing my fingers for the possibility of Doctor Who.....

Essentially, I just want Misha to become the next Mark Sheppard. ^_^

++ Sarah Michelle Gellar's Ringer has been officially ordered a full season. \O/ Rightfully so, since the show has finally found its footing in the most recent episodes it deserves to have an entire season so we can see what happens next.

++ Additionally, Haven gets a third season!

++ For all Revenge fans out there, there is a new community: [livejournal.com profile] revenge_tv.

++ Tricia Helfer lands a leading role for a TNT pilot, Scent of the Missing. Apparently we will be seeing her with a canine partner, and quite frankly my entire process reading this was: TRICIA! PUPPY! TRICIA WITH A PUPPY ON MY SCREEN! OVARIES GO S'PLODE! Besides, this role sounds intriguing and something I'm sure Tricia loved hearing about/auditioning for, being a fierce animal-lover that she is. ♥

++ ATTN: Lust For Love is an independent movie that will be created this December by are lovely Whedon peeps, Fran Kranz, Dichen Lachman, and Maurissa Tancharoen (with the possibility of Enver Gjokaj and Felicia Day), and they need our help to fund the film. It would be really awesome to see this film be the best it can be with such an amazing cast, so please, help in anyway and get the word out.

++ Selena Gomez unleashes her inner Nicki Minaj in this hilariously awesome EMA promo. I find chola!Selena rather hot, I mean seriously. Gurl got some swag goin' on....

The fall season has started up, you know what that means. Old shows returning, new shows to discover:

Nikita: Second season premiered with a bang, and it was completely awesome. I love my shows with kickass women, and this season seems to be shaping up to be bigger and better than the first. If you're not watching Nikita then you really should, especially if you love some awesome female empowerment.

Ringer: In my opinion, the second episode was better than the pilot. So far, I'm liking the show. Of course it is with my bias with SMG, but the story seems to be unfolding nicely. It reminds me of Agatha Christie mysteries a little bit. I'm sure once the ball starts rolling with the mysteries, unfolding and suspense is when everything will start to pick up.

Revenge: New show on ABC, only the pilot has been shown but after watching it I am quite pleased with how it looks. The name of the show is self-explanatory, it's a story about revenge and the main character is a self-sufficient girl who just so happens to do just that. I love a good revenge story where a girl is taking that initiative, and I kinda loved that she's planning in very subtly and being very direct disguised as innocence in certain scenes. And she proves to take care of herself. That is what I like to see. Also, the opening sequence is kind of telling us what is gonna happen and the rest is going to be leading up to that, which intrigues me even more. We get a teaser for what is to come and we see that progression and why that happens in the first place. Awesomeness. I think I just found a new show to enjoy with the mystery of.

Hawaii Five-0: My delightfully gay show is back, the profound bond between Steve and Danno is still profound and they are still bonding and bickering like the old married couple that they are, and the premiere really set off to a good start into the second season. That ending man, that ending. I wonder how that will be explained and how the team will react.

Pretty Little Liars: Okay, so I never did write a review for the mid-season finale but....omfg! What an intense mid-season finale that was. Like, dudes. What the hell. :O And apparently they are gonna have a Halloween special this October, a prequel episode with Allison in it. Can't wait!

Jason Isaacs' NBC series, Awake, will be a mid-season premiere. I just can't wait that long for 2012 to come around any faster, you know?
