Okay, I totally need to see Sherlock Holmes like, yesterday already. I'm reading different people's reviews and reactions to it and, while I knew I was going to see it before, I'd most definitely going to be seeing it based off the positive things others are saying.

Things have been quiet lately. Christmas kinda burnt me out, all I wanna do is lounge and not do anything. Heh.

So I've been kinda occupied with going through older entries of F_W, because that place is fun to look for wank of anything anywhere in fandom and the snark is hilarious. I stopped and check out the Battlestar Galactica section where, of course, when it first premiered way back people were ranting calling it a horrible remake, upset and offended about Starbuck having a vagina, the fact that the Cylons weren't robots anymore, how Starbuck growing her hair long and being married makes her less badass than before, etc. I NEVER LOL'D SO HARD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE PPL! I mean I know it's old and people were being defensive because they either grew up with the old!BSG and stuff, but looking back on those wanks now? Hilarious shit. Sometimes wanks can be headache-inducing, but these just made me laugh. I'm kinda surprised there isn't much of the pairings involved that are mentioned, as I'm sure there have been (and probably still are) many shipping wars in the BSG fandom. Mainly the Sam/Kara vs Lee/Kara shippers which, in a sense, makes me think of the Sam/Dean vs Dean/Castiel flaming and making me go CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG? THREESOMES PPL, THREESOMES! THEY MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND!

Really now fandom, threesomes are canon in the BSG universe. Lee/Kara/Sam could definitely have been a plausible notion and could have solved all the drama associated with the pairings. Well, add Baltar and Six and Leoben into the mix too, because then it would be a freaking par-tay! *wink*

I've also been watching Rifftrax online. Apparently I've been in the mood for good sarcastic snarkage lately. I never lol'd so hard, particularly when they are riffing at Harry Potter. SO. MUCH. QUOTABLE. SHIT. I nearly fell off my seat laughing (I AM YOUR NEW GAY DUMBLEDORE! XD). However, no matter how amazing and awesome the MST3K guys are with their mocking, they cannot reduce the horrible mess that is Twilight. Like, the mockery is hilarious as always, but the movie, well the story itself, is just so atrocious I was cringing because, seriously? People actually like this? Wow. Just, no. I actually feel sorry for Kristen Stewart and Rpattz, because they will forever be known being involved with this sorry excuse of a franchise.

So clearly, being entertained and amused by snark has been keeping me preoccupied during this hiatus and waiting for he new year. What's not to love about that? *g*

Christmas has come and gone (omgwhut?) and this year is nearly over. It kinda seems unreal since, at least for me, this year went by extremely quick. I guess I've just been that super busy with life that time flew by. I haven't braved the after-Christmas shopping yet, that'll be saved for tomorrow. Eek. Anyway, as the excitement of the holidays took off I missed a few fandom-related things to share with you all.

++ Clip of Misha Collins in an upcoming episode of Nip/Tuck. Kind of NSFW, though really most people on my flist can handle this kind of language, which is hilarious as he says all that with a straight face. Oh, Mish-Mish, you're just feeding my addiction and when you're taking about, um, your peen like that? Yeah. Uh-huh. This isn't inviting the flocking of fangirls at all. someone needs to make an icon of Castiel with text saying "tyrannosaurus prick" or something like that, or write a story with something similar just omgyesplz I of course also say our lovely Misha on an episode of NCIS the other day, still gorgeous even if he was in the episode for like a few scenes.

++ The holiday has passed, but still: Special Christmas Message from the Ghostfacers. Seriously, I love these guys!

++ Recent Twilight wankage. Yeah, I know, what else is new? Apparently it was announced that there's going to be a Filipino version of Twilight turned into a television show, and naturally Twilighters lose their shit. Which includes outbursts of rage and disgust, capslock of lulz, even some racial generalizations added in for good measure, y'know, the stuff that makes them look even more ridiculously batshit than they already are. If you're a fan of the series I'm sorry but, honestly, how this insanity got so out of hand is beyond me and I'm just in this for the shits and giggles. Anyway, is it bad that I'm actually intrigued on what the Filipino version will be like? I mean, I can't be any worse than the original material, in fact it might just make the story a tad more tolerable.

Though what I'm really waiting for: Bollywood Twilight, with Sendhil Ramamurthy in Edward's role. Think about it, he's already dazzling people whenever he goes, it'd be perfect! Now question remains who would be the Bella to his Edward? Mmmm....

++ It also appears that Disney is pulling out of Narnia, which in regards to our fucked up economy has been lately I understand their reasons for it. I know fans of the movies are going to be pissed, as they rightfully should, but many things are being sacrificed because of economical struggles and this business isn't all that easy to maintain with a collapsing economy when worrying about budget issues. That doesn't mean the movie might not be made, Walden Media is going to shop around looking for someone else to partner up with them. It's just not going to be Disney.

OMG AN ACTUAL UPDATE?! WHO'DA THUNK IT?

Seriously, my life schedule is kind of getting the better of me and sometimes even when I'm online I don't know what to write. From exhausting hours at school to coming home and just napping to regain my energy and other real life shenanigans, I've had like blankness on what to update about. I'll talk about college and other personal matters by the end of the week, since a lots been happening in that area. Like, my life isn't nearly as crowded as some people's are but it's enough hard work to make me want to sleep until the weekend. For serious. So yeah, all the wanking and ranting and bitchfests that happen on LJ or anywhere else? I just kind of laugh at it and move on. I don't spend my time worrying about things that will only drain more energy from me. But more on RL later.

RPATTZ IS TEH SHIZNITZ. FO'SERIOUS. He's totally dissing Stephanie Meyer and Twilight, and I am LOVING IT! The more he rags on the series the more I'm loving the guy. Seriously. I love it when actors are being so brutally honest.

I heard about what happened on Heroes, and honestly ( my opinions, let me show you them ) I've seen some leaked pictures for future episodes, and I'm just even more confused. IDEK anymore.

However, Supernatural continues to be epic with win. I realized I didn't make a proper review for last week's episode, which I think is okay to skip. It was a fun episode and I enjoyed it, but there wasn't much to make a meta-review for it. I'll save that for tomorrow's episode which I am so excited and pumped for. SPN FTW BBS!

Also, I has new Castiel icon. There can never be enough of him, amirite? ♥

How come nobody told me of kpop_macros or even kpop_wank? Srsly. With the latter I usually read about the insanity over at certain forums and boards, often times wanting to smash something, but this is a great alternative without going through many pages of stuff concerning DBSK, SNSD or Super Junior (even though the comm hasn't been updated in a while, oh well). Makes me really glad to not be participating in these fandoms. Macros makes everything better though, yepyep.

As for the Twilight madness, I'm just sitting back with popcorn watching the insanity unfold even more. Scary as the fangirls are, I'm laughing at how offended they are about the ending of the series, much less ranting about how disappointment they are. Major LOLing over here. I am amused by their anger and outrage, it's quite funny. Honestly, what else would you expect from someone like SMeyer who likes pulling out shiny sparkling things from her ass and claiming it's the best thing ever? I'm just waiting for her to go all Anne Rice and respond to all those Amazon.com reviews. Or, something similar. Oh, this is going to be fun.

For the record, I'm only seeing the movie for teh ~*~sparkling vampires~*~ 'Cause if they don't sparkle, then there's no point. It's not like there's a major plot for me to be interested in or anything, so I want to be DAZZLED.

++ Regarding my little thing yesterday about that potential spoiler, I just need to say that was only my thoughts and feelings over it as I'd just found out my suspicions were proved correct. For the record I neither love the idea or nor hate the idea, I'm just...indifferent about the information. We won't know until we've seen it obviously and it might not be as huge as I'm making it out to be, but nevertheless as I said my mind overworks due to these spoilers. Which I am completely avoiding from now on. This is what I get for being involved with fandom, even with avoiding places there'll always be someone ruining the spoiler-free zone.

++ Alright, I'm not even part of this fandom but this really makes things interesting. I don't know whether to laugh hysterically or be frightened by the cover. RPattz looks like a zombified vampire with a really bad hairday that looks freakishly like Conan O'Brian's hair, and the airbrushing is like whoa. But hey, the sexually alluring pose can totally make up for the badness of the books, yes? IDEK.
