Firstly, I want to thank all that wished me well the other day. It meant so much to me, since I was feeling all coughy, achey and miserable. I am feeling much better now, not entirely 100% but nevertheless am recovering from this week of misery. Which also means I can EAT REAL FOOD and get out of the house after being couped up.

Due to my recent fanmix kick I've been thinking about doing a EPIC FANDOM MIX, generally meaning a fanmix that has more than ten songs, maybe fifteen or twenty, like a real soundtrack. For the ones I've done so far I've only had under ten songs, which isn't bad and doesn't make one mix lesser than another for having fewer songs. But for some reason I feel like I need to do an EPIC MIX. I want to do one for another fandom that isn't Supernatural even though I'm already thinking of a S3 SPN mix, as I will do more fanmixes that are of all my fandoms, it's just the matter of figuring out what it'll be and how I'll put it together. Again, I am picky about the songs I choose for a particular mix. All I know is somewhere in the future there will be an EPIC FANMIX for any one of my fandoms, with more fanmixes on the way of course.

So there was a rumored piece of news that Mischa Barton might be joining the cast of Gossip Girl. Well, Mischa turned down the offered role, which thank goodness she did. I simply cannot stand her acting, and honestly it would be kind of typecasting in that genre of a show (and some have criticized for being a ripoff of The OC which, WTF?) I just hope they find an actress (little-known or getting-to-be-known) suitable enough for the role.

Speaking of which, does anyone know if there's a newsletter for Gossip Girl?

I also encourage others the watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, if you haven't been watching already. It definitely needs more recognition in the online fandom, plus it's made of awesome and everyone should be watching. I'm also plugging it because this upcoming Monday is the season finale of its shortened mid-season and I seriously want to see a second season just as long as it doesn't interfere with my Heroes watching this fall, m'kays TPTB?

glad you're feeling better! I agree with you about ms Barton! I watch gg here and there and I can't see her bringing anything interesting to it.
totally looking forward to an epic fanmix hehe sounds like a great idea!
i tried watching terminator and although I thought summer glau and the kid from heroes were good I really didn't enjoy the performance of the lady playing Sarah! Seeing as she's in it so much I just couldn't get into it! Is it worth sticking it out?

Lena Headey does a good job a Sarah I think, not necessarily Linda Hamilton but really there is nobody that is by comparison to her. I think Lena brings a lot to the table for the series, especially the emotional tugs and pulls concerning her son's destiny and what's going to happen in the future and if they'll prevent it.

It's definitely worthwhile, there's lots of action and graphic stuff, some flashforward!eps and best of all, girls kicking ass. :)

Yay for more fanmixes! I'm really interested in what you'd do for BSG and Heroes. Gen or ship related, it doesn't matter to me.

I feel bad not watching TSCC because I've seen the first two Terminator movies ten million times but still haven't had a chance to see the third one. I love Summer Glau and regardless of how much drama Thomas Dekker's comment about Milo and Hayden, I'm still interested in what he's doing. Don't worry, I will watch the show in the coming months and hope it isn't canceled. Then again, this is Fox. *sighs*

Oh, did you hear about the new Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins? Christian Bale is cast as John. I'm really iffy about this movie, but Christian is in it so even if the movie itself is bad, there's no doubt he'll be lovely eye candy really good.

Hee, I'm already thinking of specific character/pairings for those fandoms. The trouble is getting the right songs (and sometimes there's a song I want to reuse for two fandoms, and I'm not sure if that's allowed or whatever) plus the coverart can be a hit or miss depending on the inspiration.

It's a REALLY awesome show, has great tie-ins with the first two movies (excluding the third, thankfully) and plenty of kick-ass action. I also heard about Christian Bale being in T4, I'm uncertain how I feel about it but, being Christian Bale it should be alright. I wonder how it'll all be without Arnold in the picture. This is why I think Summer Glau should partake in the movies, but that's just my fangirlish squee because I love her as Cameron and I think she would do amazing in the Terminator film franchise.

My niece has had a runny nose the whole week and is still sneezing and coughing too. It's really sad seeing a seven month baby be so miserable. ;__;

I wouldn't mind seeing the same song used in more than one fanmix. I've seen several of the same songs used for different Mohinder/Sylar fanmixes.

If Summer is in T4, I will be at the first showing.
