THIS IS SO TOTES ADORBS! I HAVE TO FLAIL! )

ALESSANDRA'S FIRST TWO EPISODES! SHE'S SUPER ADORBS OMG. ♥ Forgive me, I will forever stan over her. This is completely different from Zoe Graystone, it really shows her comedic side. And if I didn't already, it makes me wanna become her bff, like totes for reals.

Again if you haven't caught up with Husbands, you really should. :)

~THERE MAY BE A DOCUMENT IN MY PANTS~

After the clusterfuck of a certain fandom, this is needed right now. The adorableness, I just can't stand it. ♥ This is what watching something should do to me, make me all smile and flaily and not in a deep dark place of sadness. Ugh, why can't Jane Espenson write for everything I watch?

Waking up married after a drunken Vegas weekend used to be an adventure reserved for one man and one woman. But thanks to a new law, athlete Brady Kelly and actor Cheeks find themselves unexpectedly and legally wed. Unwilling to undermine the hard-fought battle with a public quicky divorce, these two decide to make a go of it. They were doing okay when they were dating. But how will it work out, now that they are HUSBANDS?
Husbands is a new webseries from Jane Espenson, starring Cheeks, Sean Hemeon and Alessandra Torresani, and is described to be a quirky comedy I Love Lucy-style but about two gay men and their female companion (played by none other than the fabulous Alessandra Torresani.) I have been following the information for this series for a while and it looks to be quite good. Of course, it's created by, written and produced by Jane Espenson and having the brilliance of her and these actors together I think will make for a hilarious web-series about same-sex newlyweds and the wackiness that will most definitely ensue.

The web-series premieres on September 13th. You can visit the official website for more details, such as the blog, preview clips and much more!

Supernatural: The Animation teaser trailer. *___*

OMG IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WHEN IN MOTION! Even if it was just a brief moment, and I really want to hear their voices and see more of these new monsters and adventures. It looks like they are going to be more elaborate than what the show even presents to us, again an upside because they don't have to deal with budget issues in expanding the universe. Plus Japanese monsters, double yay! I CANNOT WAIT TO VIEW THIS! THE DESIGNS! THE IMPALA! JESS! YELLOW EYES! DEAN AND SAM LOOK AMAZING TOO! THE DESIGNS LOOK INCREDIBLE. Some people are complaining about it, especially Dean's design, but you know what? Whatever. I think they look just perfect for renditions of being animated versions of the characters. I mean come on, they're not going to look exactly like the actors right down to the freckles and bow-legs. Just looking at the designs without the voices and such, I think this is gonna be even more great than we ever realize. I'm really looking forward to seeing the outcome of the anime.

I am actually going to be buying/pre-ordering this when it comes out in January. Thank God for multi-region DVD players. \O/ I really hope this succeeds in selling well because I want them to do a second season focusing on the angel mythology, because you know that shit is gonna be awesomely epic regardless. Nevertheless, the anime is looking amazing so far, and the more we're hearing about it the more excited I get.

More unrelated good news, Jane Espenson is not only reported to be writing some episodes for the new season of Torchwood, but she's also written a play, "The Golden Guys" which will be the gay-male version of The Golden Girls. Starring none other than Caprica's very own Sasha Roiz! And it's been reported that Enver Gjokaj has been cast, as well? SO MUCH WANT IN THIS I CAN'T EVEN.

New interview with Jane Espenson, explaining the backstory about Sam Adama's tattoos in Caprica. See, this is precisely why I love her and, well, everything that's involved with this show right now. The massive amounts of detail, even if they're not directly mentioned in the the show itself, and the thorough explanations about these characters and how elaborate this culture/universe is, really shows that they are dedicated and thought all of this through. Just the meanings of the tattoos themselves say a lot about the character in question, and it makes me incredibly excited for what's to come for this show as the season continues.

And for those wondering who Sam Adama is, here's a small clippet of him and his husband from the third episode of Caprica. Kinda spoilery in the end with him and Joseph, but it makes for great drama in case you want to see it.

Speaking of, new episode tonight! \O/ I had thought it would be a while since most shows are on hiatus due to the Olympics, but it seems there is a new episode after all. Wheee.

Caprica premiered last Friday, the two-hour pilot which had been slightly edited to fit appropriately for televising. There were some altered scenes, including the newly improved Pyramid stadium scene which I don't recall seeing on the extended version. Otherwise, it was still the same. And I loved it all. For those of you who are curious, I had already written my review of the mini-movie/pilot way back when the DVD came out. Even though it's been months since then, all my opinions have stayed pretty much the same. Just waiting for new material to start flooding in, and if the previews live up to the hype, we're in for some fascinating stuff this season.

With that, I would like to direct everyone to this fantastic interview with Jane Espenson regarding Caprica, discussing what we'll be expecting to come in the season. It is somewhat spoilery since it does focus a great deal on a particular character and their sexual identity, but I definitely recommend reading it to everyone because it does go on about how said sexuality will be presented on the show, of how they are creating this culture, about characters and their relationships and more specifically, about the writing and detailing everything on the show. Really, I thought about quoting a lot from this interview, but I'm just going to advise you to read it all. It's incredible and it makes me truly appreciate Jane Espenson a lot more than I already did, because that's what I love about her. She gets it, not just as a writer but also as part of the audience and being a fan.

Same-sex relationships, group marriages, monotheistic versus polytheistic views, heavily complex characters and their moralities examined and challenged, the unconventional being completely culturally acceptable in this universe, plus, the evolution (and abuse) of technology which creates the Cylons amongst colonies, thus bringing forth our own destruction. And people wonder why I adore these kinds of shows.

Promo for what's to come on Caprica, as seen after the premiere. AM IN LOVE. KEEP IN GOING, SCIFI.

Alessandra Torresani interview, pretty much explaining her role on the series as Zoe Graystone, among other things. I pretty much kinda adore Alessandra. I know some will think that she's kinda spastic, but she's doing quite well and I think, judging from her interviews and video blogs that she's done, I would totally want to be bffs with her in real life, especially since she's my age.

Now here's a question: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO BE SEEING STONEHENGE APOCALYPSE PREVIEWS?! IT IS 2010, BRING ON THE MISH MISH AND THE BAD SCIFI MOVIES!
