I've been rewatching many of my fandoms while they're on hiatus right now, and believe me there's nothing more anticipating than waiting for something new from that show to appear. Like with Battlestar Galactica the TV-movie "Razor" is coming in November, but the actual fourth season doesn't start until 2008. Heroes and Dexter's second seasons won't start until September and...well, you get the point. Such a LONG WAY until they come along, which leads to only reruns of my favorite episodes while preoccupying myself with collective theories and so forth. Which I'm contemplating on writing up my speculations for both Heroes and BSG, because sharing theories are fun.

Also Rihanna's "Good Girl Gone Bad" album? So freaking good, like whoa.

P.S. Cable? Please stop sucking. I'm serious, with the constant buffering and many channels having the blackscreens and "one moment please" messages it's just irritating and annoying, and disrupts my television-viewing. I've tolerated this for sometime now, but enough is enough already. Either this gets fixed, or I'm gonna hafta cut a bitch.

1. Joss Whedon has some comments to say about certain devastations happening in current events. This is such a powerfully written and depressing post, there are just no words. But it truly does make you think, about society and the world we live in and whether we're moving forward or backwards. Go read for yourself.

3. With the new series lineup, I'm particularly looking forward to seeing The Sarah Connor Chronicles (watch the trailer here). Partially due to having seen all the Terminator films that this has sparked an interest to see how the direction goes, and partially because it has the beautiful and talented Summer Glau and Thomas Dekker, who played Zach in Heroes. The preview for the series looks promising, better than I would've expected it to be, although because it's on FOX how long it lasts depends on its ratings, which can be a hit-or-miss. But with the success of the Terminator movies, it could a promotion for people to get to watching the show. The premise is interesting enough, and I'll definitely be tuning in.

4. The Heroes season finale is tonight. I'm exciting but sad that this'll end a perfectly good season. I just hope it's worth the hype I've been hearing.

Apparently, Paris Hilton will be in the slammer for about 45 days due to violating probation. Heh, her attorney and mostly everyone else associated with her thinks it's digustingly unfair, but I digress. She broke the law, she has to suffer the consequences. Besides, it's not like she's going into a real jail anyway.
