At Dragon*Con, anything and everything gets a panel if they can squeeze them into the schedule. There are Whedon panels, a Dollhouse panel....hell, Firefly has been having panels at D*C for years since it's cancellation and it's one of the most popular ones there (though unfortunately no Firefly panel this year, much to my disappointment.)
