01. GAY MARRIAGE FINALLY LEGALIZED IN NEW YORK

This is yet another uplifting emotional and memorable moment to go down in history. Just reading all the celebratory posts yesterday made my heart swell with happiness, particularly the comments from citizens of New York saying that they finally feel recognized as people and human beings, also seeing some pictures of elderly gay couples who finally have the right to marry their significant other -- never mind the fact that Neil Patrick Harris and his partner just proposed to each other and are now properly engaged? TEARS OF JOY STREAMING DOWN MY FACE. Obviously we still have a long way to go for marriage equality and recognition for the LGBT community, but we're definitely heading in the right direction. ♥

02. Casting news for Game Of Thrones that I'm certain some Tudors fans will like..... :D

03. After much campaigning and pleading from many for years, finally they have answered our prayers: classic 90s Nickelodeon is returning on TeenNick!

This had me going all nostalgic, recalling the memories I had when I was watching the classic All That and Kenan and Kel, Clarissa Explains It All and all the others on repeat on my VHS tapes. Which I still have, btw. It makes you feel kinda old, doesn't it? Even though it really wasn't that long ago. I know they won't show all the classics, I don't think they have rights for syndication anymore or something, because I haven't seen anything saying they are going to be airing Are You Afraid Of The Dark? which sucks because THAT WAS MY SHOW. D:

What were you favorite Nickelodeon shows, flist? Were you with the All That crowd, did you watch the amazing game shows like Legends of the Hidden Temple and Figure It Out? Were you following the fashion of Clarissa Darling or going on adventures with Alex Mack?

I'm soo happy for those in NY!!! I just wish Cali would get it's act together.

My family were very meh or eww about it. They say that they aren't homophobic, but they tend to have very homophobic remarks/comments. I'm very much in closet about being Bi...the only person in my family I've told is my aunt, but I don't think she fully understands me. Anyway, I'm soo happy for the LGBT community. I hope that one day (if I choose to marry) I can marry the person I love, regardless of them being a man or woman. Damn, Cali needs to get it's shit together...

Also, Keenan and Kel were my abolute faves from the 90's :D

I'm surprised and saddened that California is still trying to gain equality, the whole Prop 8 nonsense was just so enraging. I thought Cali was better and more open-minded than that. :/ I'm hoping that this state can get passed that and try to do what NY did, and that all states will follow suit.

It's a gradual process, but we've come a long way already.
