I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO FEEL RIGHT NOW. THIS COULD BE POTENTIALLY GOOD OR POTENTIALLY BAD DEPENDING ON HOW IT'S HANDLED. I seriously hope this is a Ben Edlund episode because he does that kind of humor tremendously well and, yes, my biased love for him and his work and this sounds like the kind of episode he would do just for kicks. I'm uncertain how to feel about yet another breaking the fourth wall kind of an episode. HOWEVER I WANNA KNOW IF MISHA IS GONNA PLAY HIMSELF, BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING THAT WOULD BE THE MOST HILARIOUS THING EVER SEEING MISHA PORTRAY HIMSELF. YOU KNOW HE'LL LOVE DOING SOMETHING LIKE THAT, LOL! XD

However, this is what grabbed my attention because it is relevant to my interests:

"Upcoming episodes will bring more monsters and an Earth-threatening escalation of the civil war raging in Heaven. The treacherous archangel Raphael, who wants to rule the celestial kingdom, will make what Gamble calls "an aggressive personal move" on human-friendly fellow angel Castiel."



FUCK YEAH BITCHES! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, SHIT IS ACTUALLY GONNA GET DONE IN TERMS OF ~PLOT~ AND NONE OF THIS OOC GOING ALL OVER THE PLACE BULLSHIT AS THEY HAVE BEEN RECENTLY. ANGELICAL CIVIL WAR + CASTIEL VS RAPHAEL ARE GONNA SAVE THIS SEASON FROM BEING A TRAINWRECK. YOU KNOW THAT IT'S TRUE.

I'm very curious about the "aggressive personal move" Raphael is gonna pull against Castiel. The only thing I see that would be personal for him would be if something happened to Dean, because they do share their profound bond and despite there being a space between them this season (which I aggressively hate myself, but everyone knows that) Castiel still cares about Dean. So that's my prediction. Either that or Raphael cuts off his Grace and makes him powerless, which would weaken him against ever trying to take him and the rest of Heaven's forces on again. Particularly since people have said that Castiel mentioned last episode that he'd rather be down on Earth helping them more often, perhaps Raphael could personally see to that. WHATEVER MIGHT HAPPEN I AM KINDA EXCITED FOR THIS. I HAVE WAITED LIKE ALMOST ALL SEASON FOR THIS TO BE HONEST. DON'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE RIGHT NOW BUT THIS. \O/\O/\O/\O/

I may be getting a bit too enthusiastic after reading that, but can you blame me? I've been waiting for the angel civil war to be brought up for episodes. Sue me for getting just a wee bit excited for something that is actually relevant to my interests this season.

But yeah. IDK, man. That sounds like it could easily be a disastuh... it kind of already sounds like one to me. Although it does sound like something Gabriel would do. SO HERE'S HOPING.

As for the "aggressive personal move"? It's gotta be Raphael going after Dean. Or in the very least the Winchesters (+ Bobby, maybe). 'cause Cas really has few personal connections, and as they mention "human-friendly" I'd say it has to be either Dean or them. ('cause the only other connection I can think of is Balthazar, and while Balthazar is also on Raphael's shitlist and it'd be killing two birds with one stone, yeah. there's that human-friendly mention there that makes me think it can't be him.)

It is becoming rather obnoxiously annoying with the constant breaking-the-fourth-wall meta episodes, the SUPERNATURAL books one was kind of enough I felt. THOUGH THIS DOES SEEM VERY GABRIEL-ESQUE TO ME! I mean, "Changing Channels"? This seems sooooo like him to play this on them. And I'm actually wondering whether this is the episode that Gabriel returns and if so, I'm anxiously excited!

And I kinda wanna see Misha playing himself, or Castiel attempting to play "Misha Collins" or something, lol. idek, it sounds like a hoot. XD

Agreed, so hard. They wouldn't mention human-friendly so specifically in that sentence and description unless it really is directly towards hurting someone Castiel knows, Dean is definitely very personal to him. I can just imagine the kind of anger/rage/wrath he would have realizing that Raphael was going to be coming after Dean. I can also kinda see Castiel going to Balthazar for help if it's a threatening kind of situation that needs more than just him to handle Raphael. SO MANY POSSIBILITIES WITH THIS KIND OF INFO. I WANT THIS TO HAPPEN NOW.

This makes me aching for some angel vs angel brawl of sorts. Because dammit, we need an epic one badly. I also kinda want Cas to win this fight on his own this time, lol

Normally I'm fine with the meta stuff (at least where Supernatural is concerned), but this sounds just-too-muchery for me. But who knows? If Gabriel is involved in it and it's handled by a talented writer (EDLUND) then maybe it'll be like the Changing Channels of this season.

YES. If Misha plays himself or has to fake Misha as Castiel? I'D BE INTERESTED IN SEEING THAT. If it's handled well. plz.

I just kind of wonder how Cas is going to, like, literally deal with Raphael if he goes after Dean. 'cause, yeah. it hasn't really gone well for him the last couple times he's come up against him. BUT I WOULD APPROVE SO FUCKING HARD OF HIM GOING TO BALTHAZAR FOR HELP AND THEM TEAMING UP.

I'm just going to use this to mention how I've been fantasazing for like months now of Castiel and Balthazar teaming up to take on a group of angels. And like fighting back to back with angel swords. HNNNNNG, COULD THIS HAPPEN PLZ?

If anything this episodes needs a proper writer who understands the level of crackiness but still maintaining characterizations despite the crazy atmosphere, Edlund is perfect for that position. And yes, I would love Misha to be featured as well if they treat him fairly. THIS IS WHAT WE ARE DEMANDING SHOW, TREAT OUR CAS FAIRLY AND NOT THE SHIT YOU DID PREVIOUSLY. With all that, then we're cool.

CASTIEL AND BALTHAZAR HAVE TO WATCH TOGETHER, OR FIGHT TOGETHER AT SOME POINT. I APPROVE OF YOUR MIND BB, BECAUSE CASTIEL SHOULDN'T BE FIGHTING THIS ALL BY HIMSELF (didn't he say there were others who agreed with him, who were fighting alongside him?) IF ANYTHING I WOULD LOVE FOR THERE TO BE A SWORDFIGHT OR SOMETHING BETWEEN CAS/BALTHAZAR AND RAPHAEL/HIS CREW. OMGOMGOMG THAT WOULD BE EPIC SHIT.

If anyone writes this ep, I hope it's Edlund. OR A SURPRISE JEREMY CARVER! But I doubt that'll happen. ...actually, I can't remember if he said he would write any episodes this season, but do you think it's possible Kripke could be writing this episode?

I actually wonder if Misha would be in the episode. Like, hopefully he is... if it's handled well. :\ Someone on tumblr made a post about this, and how they thought it would be hilarious if Dean and Sam see "Castiel" in the AU, but it's actually Misha. Who would then proceed to fuck around with them and go along with saying he's Cas. I would definitely not mind seeing that, lol.

THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY GET TO TEAM UP AT LEAST ONCE! I'm sure Cas isn't alone in the war, at least in the sense that he has allies. But I'm certain he's alone in the sense that he really doesn't have any friends or probably anyone he can confide in up there. :\ SO I WOULD REALLY LOVE IT IF HE COULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE SIBLING HE COULD ACTUALLY TRUST AND WHO ISN'T TRYING TO KILL HIM *SOBS*

Exactly. Which is why I think it will be something involving them. I think if Raphael was going to use Dean, he would have by this point. I just don't see him using the Winchesters. But the Novaks? Hell yes.

So do you think Jimmy is still in there? I really don't but Show seems to be determined to keep him around. I mean Cas spent pretty much an entire year up in Heaven. So where was Jimmy that entire time. And more importantly, why didn't he change clothes? Regardless if Jimmy is still in the game or not, I think lashing out at the Novaks would be the thing that would horrify Cas the most.

After having thought about it more, it does make sense to me for him to target the Novaks. 'cause if I were Raphael? That's definitely what I would do. Like, targeting the Winchesters would be a blow to Cas, but I think Cas's main reaction would be in anger. Which would really only serve him, in the end. Because it would just make Cas want to defeat Raphael even more.

But targeting the Novaks? That would be a serious emotional blow that Cas really does not need, or possibly can even handle right now. ...not that Cas wouldn't be angry or anything if Raphael went after Amelia and Claire, but I think it would really come closer to breaking him than anything else.

I don't think he's in there, and I think he died when Cas was killed the first time around, but as for what the show thinks? ...it probably just depends on whether or not they want him to be. :\

The more I think about it, the more that makes sense.

It would be amazing if it was directed towards Dean or Sam, because they are his friends and he does share a deeper connection with Dean (and I'll be honest, my Dean/Cas fangirl heart would squee with happiness if Castiel started going protective!angel over Dean), however there would definitely be an emotional impact between him and the Novaks because of Jimmy. Granted we've gotten little information whether Jimmy still exists, not to mention how all that would have worked if Castiel had been in Heaven for the last year. I'm not entirely sure how it would all factor in, but after everything I think Castiel would feel sympathy for the Novak family (particularly after the events from "The Rapture")

So yeah, I'm not entirely sure but either scenario would fit perfectly.
