++ First of all, this V-Gift Snowflake Cookie sending thing, which is of no charge whatsoever? THE BESTEST THING EVER CREATED! Of course it's only for the holidays thus limited time offer, but dammit it's made so many people happy just to get acknowledged and have that kind of love from their lj-friends. This is why I love this time of the year. Spreading the love all over the place. It's contagious. THANK YOU EVERYONE! SERIOUSLY, SO MUCH LOVE I'M ABOUT TO BURST! ♥

++ SciFi's Alice premiered this evening, the first part, and it is SO FRAKKING GOOD YOU GUISE, OMG. Of course it would be good, it was developed by the people that did Tin Man which was awesome in itself so this was definitely going to be amazing, too. Plus, I really enjoy different takes on these kinds of stories, of the Alice in Wonderland story and recreating an entire universe based around it, just like with what they did with Wizard of Oz for Tin Man. A futuristic alternate universe kind of fairytale, with its own legends and mythology. I love it. I'll have more thoughts once the miniseries is all wrapped up by tomorrow night.

And...I kinda ship Alice/Hatter. Oh come on, you all agree with me, don't lie. The chemistry and UST is scorching, like whoa. And Hatter is quite hot, not gonna lie. *g*

++ Is it pathetic of me of actually waiting for SciFi to air a freaking preview for Stonehenge Apocalypse? Between the awesome Caprica previews, I am not ashamed in saying that I was waiting for them to show at least something. WHEN IS IT COMING OUT?! I WANT AND NEED MY MISHA COLLINS FIX NOW, DAMMIT! IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT MISHA MUST BE ON EVERYTHING ON DEMAND, RIGHT NOW.

by the by--how many scifi actors did you catch? Colm Meaney (the King of Hearts) from Star Trek, Felix Gaeta (one of the Spades dudes) from of course BSG, MAX FREAKING HEADROOM (Charlie), Hatter is played by the guy from Primeval...Tim Curry of course...me and my sister took turns squeeing over the sheer amount of fandom clashing!

YES. Alice/Hatter > Alice/Jack, this is trufax. There's just so much more chemistry between Alice and Hatter that it's undeniable, and yes it totally works.

DUDE I KNEW IT! I ACTUALLY DID A DOUBLE-TAKE AND WAS LIKE OMG IS THAT GAETA? THAT IS GAETA HOLY SHIT! XD I was completely playing "who else is appearing in this miniseries" I love these kinds of fandom clashings.

Caprica needs to be out already. I'm so pumped for it and just seeing all the new little clips they have in those previews is making me anticipate it even more.

Oh, definitely. Alice knows a lot more about Hatter in the limited time she's met him than her supposed extended time in her world with Jack, and that just says something. I don't feel the Alice/Jack vibe, mostly because they just didn't know each other on that level. Hatter might be slightly flawed, but at least there's communication between him and Alice on those issues that come up, aside from what she and Jack had. Of course, Jack is turning out to become more of a rebel than a flat-out evil guy, but still, I prefer Alice/Hatter more than anything right now.

I'm very intrigued now, because it did seem like Duchess wasn't really all that concerned about Jack being involved with Alice, and it would make for a great twist if they were both rebelling against the Queen. And yeah, we need to know who sent him the "RUN!" message (somehow the speculating part of me is thinking Alice's mother for some reason, idky).
