Fanvid Friday: Moon Dong-eun (The Glory)

My Comments: Do not underestimate the calm fury of a woman who has been deeply traumatized that she's willing to extract revenge on those who wronged and abused her. I'm grateful that there's quite a handful of The Glory fanvids that exist out there, and the two I picked for today focuses on our main lead, Moon Dong-eun. The first one is short, but an effective fanvid showing Dong-eun confronting her past tormentors. Set to the song "Darkside" by NEONI, it sets the tone perfectly for Dong-eun, and captures the mindset Dong-eun is in throughout most of the drama. The second fanvid is a bit more somber, as it focuses on the emotional side of her journey to revenge, that she is someone who is motivated by hatred and rage, but also from being so traumatized and betrayed by those that she feels like she has nothing left to lose. It's set beautifully to a nice piece of instrumental music, and you really feel the pain of what she went through and still goes through even as she is dishing out her revenge plan. Content warning for the second video, as it depicts vicious acts of bullying.
