++ By marathoning Dark Angel I revisited one of my favorite pairings. Now obviously the main ship of the show was Max/Logan, and yeah I can see the potential for Alec/Max too. However my pairing during the run, and still is to this day, is Zack/Max. I know I may be in the minority, but there was serious chemistry between them. It was even implied on the show at certain times that Zack looked at her more than in a brotherly way. In the episode "Blah Blah Woof Woof" for example, and even in a later episode when he tells her that there was no possible way he could ever forget her. Obviously it was seen as one-sided given how protective Zack was over Max, but had the show gone that route I wouldn't have been surprised.

And because this is a rarepairing there are hardly any fic about them, unfortunately. I remember reading one long ago, way back when ff.net allowed NC17 stories on their site, but other than that no dice. :(

++ THAT SUPERNATURAL PAIRING MEME THINGIE )

++ I watched the premiere episode of Haven yesterday, and it's pretty good. It was kind of shaky in the beginning, but once the episode started moving with the mystery it really found its footing and I really like the characters towards the end. It has much potential, and the ending gives that suspenseful "something more is up here" kind of feel which I personally like. So yeah. I like the main leading character, she started to really hold her own at the end as well. Since this is the starting point we'll see how the rest of the show goes but as for right now, I give my approval stamp. Now I gotta download Eureka because I needs my James Callis fix. ;)

Though interestingly, I had a dream recently that Misha Collins was to guest-star on Eureka, except he would play Castiel who mysteriously got transported into that universe...and he was there searching to buy himself a fedora similar to what James character wears as seen in promotional pictures. Just goes to show what my brain conjures up, and how much I really want Misha and James Callis to do something together. Hehe.

Day 27 - Best pilot episode

Teenage cyborg protectors, the human race on the run from their machine creations, those just trying to get by out in the black, and a post-apocalyptic future where electromagnetic pulses aren't really caused by the Stonehenge... )

Masterlist of days here.

Um, so apparently Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams are going to be sharing a panel together at Comic Con? This is what happens when fandom S'PLODES WITH FANGASMS. This, I think, is going to be the most explosive panel. I have to look through what the other guests are for all the other days but, seriously, who can't wait to see what comes from this panel with them? :D Oh, and it seems that Fred Phelps and his craycray religious followers are going to be protesting at Comic Con this year because of us heathens "idolizing comic book characters" instead of God. The shenanigans from this is gonna be gold!

Also, Nathan Fillion tweeted this with the cryptic message: "together again." WHAT DOES THIS MEAN YOU GUYS?! OH NATHAN YOU BIG TEASE.

++ All you guys are so ridiculously crackalicious, and I love you all for it. I feel like I should do DAZZLING CAPSLOCK posts more often, especially when talking about Misha fucking Collins. But they come so spontaenously and at random so, you never know! Either way, I love you all for being so whacked and cracky with me. It makes the world go round when we're exchanging capslock sparkles and squeeing about our lovely precious angel who is just as insane as we are. ♥ ♥ MISHAWIVES IN DA HOUSE YO!

++ Today is June 1st, 2009. A significant date for anyone that watched Dark Angel back in the day, when terrorists detonated an electromagnetic pulse within the U.S., crashing all computer systems and basically turned America into a third-world country. Just a little trivia, and while it hasn't happened in our reality there are certain resemblences and similarities between that (and other fictional worlds) and our world, and it really makes you think, you know? What would happen if suddenly tomorrow our country turned upside down, how would we survive? How would we adapt? Just something to really consider when watching one of your fandoms, those connections.

++ Went to work today and already I'm exhausted. My God, this is gonna be another longggg week. Yipeee! /note sarcasm

++ I had more to say, but I'm just too fucking tired to really give anything at this current moment. Other than Leighton Meester looking motherfucking fierce at the MTV Movie Awards, which I didn't watch because MTV is craptastic and those awards are a joke, but seriously gurlfriend be rockin' it. Haters to the left, kthx.

Due to this being Independence Day, July 4th for US citizens, my college class has been cancelled this evening along with last night. In addition, like almost all national holidays, the majority ot stores will be closed for people to celebrate with their families and such. As for me, nothing incredibly festive will be going on....if you count listening to the fireworks as they're being set off tonight festive. Usually when celebrating with relatives we would do a barbeque, however that option isn't workable this year. So, happy Independence Day to all who is celebrating it!

I am highly anticipating to see M. Night Shyamalan's Lady in the Water, not only because the previews and trailers have already captured me with intrigue but also since I'm a huge fan of a Mr. Shyamalan's films. I'm excited to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, as well.

While watching the three-day marathon of The Twilight Zone, I've been seeing previews that Dark Angel will be syndicated in the SciFi Channel! Yays!
