This year has been extremely shitty, on almost every level possible. I know that the holidays were dampened by the fact that most couldn't actually be with their families and so it's been incredibly hard for a lot of people. So I hope that regardless of your personal circumstances that you made the best of things despite it all.

For me, Christmas is normally quiet anyway but this year was even more subdued than usual, mostly in spirit. Decorations are up and there was dinner that was prepared and everything, but that feeling just wasn't as it could have been. Things just felt a little off, which is just on par for the weirdness of this year in general. But nevertheless, it was pretty okay all things considered. Of course, I'm very simple, if I can bask in Christmas lights that are set up then I'm happy. Bonus, it rained on Christmas Day so I was even more happy.

As a whole, I hope that everyone had a nice Christmas/holiday season. ❤

That's good, I'm glad that you were able to do things normally despite everything else that's going on. I constantly worry about some of my relatives and whether they're okay or plan on doing something big, but for the most part, from what I've heard, they thankfully haven't and have remained safe.
