++ The third episode of Narrative Telephone by the Critical Role cast is up, and it's just as hilarious as the last two episodes. Honestly, this is probably my favorite thing they've done since these stay-at-home orders halted their continuation of the second campaign. It works great that they get to revisit certain characters by telling a short story, the retellings are absolutely hilarious, and I love seeing their reactions to watching the retellings of the story devolve. I have laughed until tears are in my eyes, and it really makes it so worth it waiting for each new episode.

++ It has been confirmed that Katee Sackhoff will be reprising the role of Bo-Katan, the character she voices in the The Clones Wars animated series, in the second season of The Mandalorian. First of all, because I'm so out-of-the-loop since I don't really pay attention to these things I didn't even know that Katee voiced her in that show, so all the fancastings and fan wishes for her to play a live-action version of the character makes so much more sense now. Secondly, and more importantly, Katee will be back on my television screen! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

I am curious, though, what the second season of The Mandalorian will entail. There have been a lot of casting announcements about certain characters appearing in the upcoming season and while it's intriguing, it does make me a little worried on how fast things will go because, like I mentioned before, I enjoy a slow-burn. I don't want them to immediately jump headfirst into bigger plots or territories of that nature as soon as the second season premieres. I want them to take their time unraveling things. Surely, these will most likely be cameos and they'll most likely guide Din and the Baby to their next destination or mission, but still. I don't know. It may seem like I'm whinging a bit, but it's mostly because the first season was so good and I don't want them to feel pressured by Disney to go bigger and grander to keep audiences interested.

Narrative Telephone is one of my new favorite things. Just pure happiness. I always laugh so much at least once that my stomick hurts. Can't go to the gym? That's fine, an ep of Narrative Telephone will be sure to give those abs a real workout. xD

I mean, just. Hunter wolf with a beak. Songs that are forgotten almost immediately. Three name changes, none sticking. Ashley Johnson stressing tf out when it's her turn <3 Laura Bailey *harp music*

And etc etc and so on. Gosh, I just adore those people <3

I love that they took the concept of the game "Telephone" and did it in a way that was entertaining to watch, not just for us but for them too. They clearly love seeing it all devolve from the original story that is being told and seeing each other struggle. It's hilarious. I think it's even more hilarious when you have Matt Mercer, a masterful storyteller in his own right, struggle with retelling a story, even if it's after someone else's attempt at retelling it. It's so great.

I also feel for Ashley, because I also have a shit memory and it takes me several listens/watches of something before I can fully memorize it. So the notion of just listening to something once and then having to retell it on the spot is just horrifying. But I love how she loves these people so much that she's willing to put up with these shenanigans, lol.

I'm just glad that they're providing us with such A+ content like this.

Yeah, that was such a brilliant thing to do. And I'm really glad that the audience loves it so much, so they can keep doing it for however long they want. I really loved in the latest ep, how excited Matt seemed at the idea of trying again but making it harder this time around. xD

Oh, same. It would be mortifying to do. But like her, I would absolutely do it to just get to do something with people I love. I really loved when she said that, about not liking it but doing it anyway because she loves them7wants to do stuff with them/whatever the exact phrasing was.

Truly. They have really been so creative with the content they've put out now, even thought they can't meet in person. This hilarious game, and AWNP being a wholesome group chat/check-in-with-friends, two things I really take some comfort in having to watch rn. A+ content indeed. :D

Yes! I cannot wait for that. Knowing how brilliant of a storyteller Matt is, seeing him go all hard mode on them (harder than they already seem to be doing lately, that is) is going to be entertaining.

Yeah, and while I know that it was filmed a bit before the stay-at-home order, I really adore Critter Hug! Matt and Mica Burton are perfect for hosting this show, and I love how Mica has just become part of the CR family now, as she should be.
