I can just imagine that, within due time, it will only be one year after a film's release that someone will want to reboot it already. That's how ridiculous reboot culture has become, it's like they're trying harder to push for remaking/rebooting everything even if it's still brand new. They're barely wasting time hopping onto that bandwagon to cash in on cheap, soulless remakes because studios just don't give a shit.
(Also, with the Saw movies, they could just expand on the already existing universe, that's what Jigsaw did. But apparently that's too original of an idea for Hollywood studios....)
