++ Vox Machina: An Exandrian Musical is a fan-created musical combining Hamilton and Critical Role. The cast of Critical Role have been fans of the Hamilton musical for some time now, and some fans decided to kind of use this inspiration to tell the story of the first campaign with their own version of the musical, to which cast have responded very positively to it. It truly is very, very well done. Granted, it won't necessarily make sense unless you have watched the first campaign, and it does contain spoilers. However, I highly recommend listening to at least the first track.

++ Speaking of Hamilton, we have "The Hamilton Polka" which is "Weird Al" Yankovic's remixed contribution. You know you've made it when Weird Al does a parody of your work.

++ And now we have premieres of upcoming shows: the second season of Jessica Jones premieres on March 8th on Netflix, Brooklyn Nine-Nine resumes their season on March 18th, the new Freeform series Siren premieres March 29th, the second season of Legion premieres on April 3th, The Expanse premieres its third season on April 11th, Elementary will return on April 30th, the series premiere of Cloak & Dagger is on June 7th. I know some were worried about Brooklyn Nine-Nine but it will return, with a possible amazing casting announcement that I'm happy about. I'm very excited about Jessica Jones and The Expanse, I still have to see the first season of Legion but just watching the trailers for the second season has intrigued me very much. Granted I'm mostly really liking them because of Aubrey Plaza, but y'know. And I'm quite curious about the new shows, Siren and Cloak & Dagger. Of course, these are the shows upcoming in the next few months. I'm still looking forward to some of my other shows later in the year, like Wynonna Earp and the Sense8 finale special which I'm really looking forward to.

There are, of course, some other shows that I want to check out but haven't yet, such as Altered Carbon and Marvel's Runaways. This is mostly due to my procrastination and also still being behind on some of my shows. I'm slowly rectifying this, though.

B99 came back in April last year, so I don't think there was anything to worry about. However, I note that it's on a different day of the week from what it used to be, which is probably not that good in terms of ratings since casual audiences might miss the news.

I've just seen some concerns about the future of the show in general since it doesn't get as much promotion as other shows, similar to Elementary since that show took too long before there was a definitive return date, so it's still nice to get confirmation nonetheless. Although I will say, having B99 being kind of unintentionally promoted in the Olympics along with Mark Hamill singing praise to the show, I hope this means more people are going to start watching the show.

Nice! :-) I hadn't heard of that. What happened?

Red Gerard, a teen snowboarder in the Olympics, said he almost overslept after binge-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine episodes on Netflix the night before competing. He still won gold, though. It was just an unexpected yet awesome little mention. :)

Ha ha! I'm surprised I didn't see that on Tumblr, because there was a post listing fun stuff about athletes also being teens (like the young woman who kept her goggles on because she hadn't brought make-up).

I'm surprised you didn't see it, either, because that's how I knew about it since there were several posts regarding it, and people commenting that this unintentional shoutout was probably the best and only advertising B99 has ever gotten (which is very true, sadly enough).

I didn't really follow the Olympics that closely as others, I just knew after the fact since everyone has been talking about the teens in the event and how naturally unfiltered they were. My favorites were the fact that Mirai Nagasu nonchalantly talked about being on her period while performing, and Chloe Kim tweeting about ice cream while competing (and confusing people on why she was tweeting while in the middle of competing in the Olympics). Bless. :)

Now that I think about it again, I might have seen something about the binge-watching (or I'm just creating false memories, ha ha), but I don't think B99 was named in the summary I saw.
