I don't know if there's going to be a fourth video of the cast reacting to their reaction of their reaction to their first reaction, as to continue the Hobbitception that is going on, but you've got to admit this is probably the best and most adorable thing you'll ever see. There's no second-hand embarrassment for those who may be worried about that. It's just fangirls being completely adorable in their fangirling, and the cast being equally as cute in seeing, loving, and appreciating the fan love. It's just too precious all around. ♥

And honestly, my reaction to the trailer was exactly like theirs was. I was just filled with pure fangirl excitement and joy, and I'm sure I would be freaking the fuck out too if I knew the cast saw my reaction as well. I would literally be the girl on the right flailing about in disbelief in the third video, negl.

I actually think this new trend of reacting to reactions, like how GRRM watching the Red Wedding reactions, is kind of amazing. And just reaction videos in general. I think seeing genuine emotion from people is more rewarding than just reading an online comment. You get to see a heartfelt reaction from people, and most of the time they are just priceless. As a fangirl myself, it's nice to see other fans react the same way to similar things.

I think it's cool to see more interaction between creator/audience and actors/audience so I like these reaction back and forths for that reason!

Same here. It's both awesome and adorable.

I just remember the days when sending a fan letter was the only way of possible communication to an actor or creator, and maybe there was a chance you'll get an actual reply back (that wasn't the standard manufactured scripted letter response.) Nowadays, things like this happen and imo that's way more magical and surreal, esp when it's unexpected.

lol, same here. I'm self-conscious enough as it is, so the thought of having my fangirl reaction going viral terrifies me. But thankfully, others are willing to do that for me, with the same level of fangirlishness so it's all good. ;)

The fact that they had the cast reacting to how the fans reacting (which they should totally make a fourth video for it as well) is both amazing and really adorable. Because it kind of encapsulates how a lot of fans reacted to it, and it helps promote a method of interaction and communication between the actors/writers and the audience, which is an excellent move since there's a lot more tools to facilitate it now :D

I completely agree. We've entered a new age where communication has all sorts of outlets now thanks to the continuing upgrade of technology. It's something that not too long ago wasn't exactly that easily accessible or possible for the majority of people. I mean, I'm thinking about fan letters and how those were the only way of showing fan appreciation to an actor or creator. Now, we have things like YouTube and Twitter for that kind of interaction with actors/creators and vice versa. It's kind of amazing.

And these reaction videos, most people aren't even doing it to become viral. They're showing it to share with others their fan love and enthusiasm, which is certainly a great tool of seeing more and more fans reacting with the same level of excitement and gets not just other fans pumped up, but the cast/creators as well. It just works all around. :D

I agree that the videos can say more than a comment because it's harder to edit yourself. Sure, you can try to be stoic (you can see people in the GoT reactions trying to stay cool) but eventually you'll catch a flinch or grimace or smile that shows you their true feelings...as opposed to an online comment which they have to think of and process and maybe try to sound clever or too cool.

Yeah, the expressions on people's faces reveal the kind of emotion and feeling that online comments cannot convey. Like, just watching how people react in those honest moments just feels more real than anything else. Whether they're excited or sad/upset, it's really telling and sometimes definitely more satisfying. :)

::sigh:: I'm *still* annoyed with myself that I didn't get my husband's full Red Wedding reaction on video. I was sneaking around and recording him DURING the scene, but his reaction was kinda blase at that time. It wasn't until the episode ended that he blew up, I guess because he must have been hoping that it was like a joke or a dream or something. (I've read the books and he hasn't, obviously).

I can't even remember my own reaction when I saw the scene. I knew it was coming, I was anticipating it all season, but I think when it finally was happening I was just in such stunned disbelief. I think just seeing so many different reactions from the episode itself, ranging from being just being rendered speechless to being verbally upset is great thing. We all shared the same kind of pain, and it's glorious.
