Because this is some fucked up bullshit right here.
I didn't become a paid member so the most simplistic features would become complicated and that the entire LJ staff would ignore everyone's concerns and input, or even allow our input or consulting with us before making these ridiculous changes. Date: 2011-12-21 11:35 am (UTC)Hopefully with the number of outraged people voicing their opinions on this matter to the staff, they will change it back. I would rather they have this setting be an option so that if you like it you can use it, and for people who don't can remain how it used to be. I remember years ago when they changed the layout for the entirety of the site and people weren't happy with it, but they allowed people to use the older layout setting if they so choose to.
