BEN EDLUND'S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT IS CASTIEL-CENTRIC!!!!!!!!
IT IS ALL ABOUT CASTIEL YOU GUYS, WE EVEN GET BITS AND PIECES FROM HIS PAST! IT'S TOLD ALL FROM HIS POINT OF VIEW AND JUST OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WANTING AND WISHING AND PRAYING FOR, IS IT NOT? I MEAN WE HAVEN'T HAD A CASTIEL-CENTRIC EPISODE SINCE SEASON FOUR, AND WE'RE FINALLY GETTING ONE! Date: 2011-03-14 04:31 am (UTC)I adore Balthazar so much, so I'm very biased with seeing both his and Castiel's bromance blossom more as the season goes on. And hopefully they don't kill him (D:) because seriously, as much as I adore Dean/Cas I also want Castiel to have more Heavenly friends. Lord knows he doesn't have much of them these days, with the war and all. I love their bond and yes, it would definitely solidify his alliance with Castiel.
I'm concerned on why people are automatically jumping on the "Castiel is going to turn evil" speculation. I mean, if he truly had turned he wouldn't be so morally conflicted with everything he's had to do during this war (a war we haven't even fully grasped the magnitude of, but can only imagine what he's going through). Cas might be making reckless decisions which make come to bite him on the ass during the finale, but it's understandable with everything that's been going on. So him dealing with the ramifications of those choices and decisions is something I'm speculating will happen in the finale, but definitely not the "he will betray the Winchesters" route everyone seems to think will happen.

Date: 2011-03-14 02:58 am (UTC)I was more referring to "On The Head Of A Pin" because that was mostly very Castiel-centric, from the episode opening with him and following him as he's questioning his own faith, considering disobedience, going all Columbo on us with figuring out the mystery of Uriel and what he's been doing. It seems this upcoming Cas episode this season is going to be doing the same thing, just more about Cas and how he's been handling this war.
