Day 24 - An episode you wish never happened

01. "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Heaven and Hell" because they were wastes of time. The only good parts was the introduction of Alastair and Dean revealing what happened in Hell, that's it. Everything else is forgettable and, quite frankly, I pretend these episodes don't exist.

02. "Hammer of the Gods" because they killed Gabriel. ;__;

03. "Route 666" Racist truck? Seriously?

04. "Swan Song" since it is probably the worst finale in the history of this show. They totally over-hyped the finale saying that it was going to be amazing when, in reality, it was incredibly anticlimactic for a biblical apocalypse. The whole thing was such a mess and completely lame, I can't even. Never should have happened, or if anything should have been handled differently than what they did with it.

05. "Exile on Main Street" It just sucked and failed on bad on so many levels, just, no. That is not how you do a season opener. Just like the S5 finale, this season premiere was absolutely atrociously awful and perhaps one of the things that should have been a red flag for what this season was going to feature, and that ain't good. -__-

06. "Caged Heat" I think everyone knows why. Ewwwww. That episode never happened in canon, either.

07. Almost every episode this season so far, with the exceptions of the few I actually enjoyed. Also, filler episodes that could have been avoided altogether. I do like stand-alones, but fillers just for the sake of fillers are pointless and boring and amounts to nothing interesting.

As you can immediately tell, I am incredibly opinionated on this since in recent seasons there have been plenty of episodes that I wished never existed. Either from the writing (characterization especially) or direction of where storylines were headed, this show has been giving us some turd-worthy episodes lately and that concerns me greatly. I don't know if it's the direction and decisions underneath the new showrunner or what, but it's not going well at all. :/

I know. As much as I hate to say it I really hope season seven is the last one (I haven't heard anything just a feeling it will get another season), because at this point it would be a mercy killing.

At first I seriously don't want another season at all, however I'd rather not have this trainwreck of a season be the last thing this show sees. It needs to go out on top, so if there is a seventh season all I want is a.) Sera Gamble to be fired and b.) Ben Edlund or someone that actually understands the show take showrunner position and do the decision-making. I want to believe that if there is gonna be a seventh, it'll be wayyyy better than the crap we've been receiving and will end on a high note.

If there is a seventh season, I doubt Gamble will be replaced. It's a nice dream, but I suspect any S7 would be much like S6. Which means I don't want a S7. I'd rather have the show go out on a trainwreck of a season than on TWO trainwrecks of a season.

I want to maintain some hope though. :( Many people are disliking Gamble's direction, even before she was appointed the job position as showrunner, and I want to believe that with enough complaints they may rethink having her be in charge and make her step down and appoint someone else. *cough*BENEDLUND*cough*

But yeah, I agree. Sadly, even with Dawn O leaving the network, I think she might make them have another season before she goes, making us facepalm and cringe at another trainwreck OOC season with a less-than-adequate showrunner that doesn't understand anything about the story or the characters involved and just does whatever. :/ With this season I have skipped so many episodes I don't care for and dread what will happen to the characters that I have loved. I adore Castiel and Misha, but dammit I don't want his characterization to be butchered anymore underneath her reign.

Seriously, Kripke. Is this what you want with your show? *sigh*

LOL, IT'S SAD. I'M JUST SO PROTECTIVE OF THE CHARACTER THAT I'D RATHER THEY KILL HIM AND LEAVE HIM IN CHARACTER THEN WRITE HIM IN AN OOC WAY.

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THIS.

IT ALSO SUCKS BECAUSE THIS IS THESE PEOPLE'S LIVELIHOODS, THEY LOVE DOING WHAT THEY DO. HOWEVER THEY ARE USING AND ABUSING THEIR CHARACTERIZATIONS JUST FOR THE MONEY AND RATINGS AND THAT IS JUST NOT COOL. CASTIEL IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER ON THE SHOW AND I ADORE HIM AND VERY PROTECTIVE OF HIM, BUT SEEING THE WAY THEY'VE BEEN TREATING HIS CHARACTER THIS SEASON -- ONLY IN A FEW SCENES, OOC IN THAT ONE EPISODE WE SHALL NEVER SPEAK OF AGAIN -- IT IS RIDICULOUS AND JUST PLAIN INSULTING. HE IS A REGULAR SHOW, TREAT HIM LIKE ONE.

SRSLY. THEY TREATED HIM WITH MORE RESPECT IN S4 WHEN HE WAS JUST RECURRING THAN THEY ARE WHEN HE'S A SERIES REGULAR. IDGI :/

This season should never have happened at all. It should have stopped at least season, just with a different outcome of the finale.

And really, if they were honestly pining for more Winchesters they could have done a telemovie or something to wrap up their story instead of dragging it out every week. It's boring, contrived and ridiculous at this point.

I liked the male Crossroads Demon in I Know What You Did Last Summer. That's... pretty much all I remember from that episode.

Ugh, season six. I want to love it, I really do. But so far it's been fifty-fifty even for me. /sigh

We need more male Crossroad demons, like him and Crowley. If anything just to have more male/male kissage. ;) This show seriously is lacking in that department.

There's only been a few episodes I sincerely loved and enjoyed. I purposefully skip episodes I have no interest in/know they are gonna be bad, and what does that say about a show when a supposed fan is skipping episodes? Hell, even people who are easy to please with anything are getting fed up with this season. *sighs with you*

We definitely need those. I wonder why those demons always are in female vessels, or is it just that gays/girls don't usually make deals, since the Crossroads Demon takes the form of something that person the most wants to see or something.

Yeah. :/ It just feels like they're going nowhere with this.

Maybe they do, but we don't see them. Which is a shame, we needs more of teh gay on the show. ;)

Either they seriously all pulling this from their ass, or they do have a plan but it isn't translating well from paper to the screen. Or from their ideas onto the paper and onto the screen. I mean seriously, 14 episodes and there's still nothing happening. Little things but nothing exciting or interesting to keep watching at this point.

Unless they do an angel spin-off which, my fangirl wishful thinking. But yeah.

Honestly, I wished this show has ended last season because this season sucks ass bad! I thought S5 was as bad it could get and even then it wasn't completely awful just wasted potential but this? Ugh!

As a viewer, I feel like I was cheated out of watching good tv and as a fan I fell like I was cheated by watching my favorite characters go down the toilet. I mean I am glad the actors are having fun but I can't say I am having fun watching the writers destroy their characters for the sake of money. Just Ugh!

This is what I went through with Heroes. Loved the show, the first season was perfect, I loved the characters. But after that things went downhill, and it got to the point where it was obvious the Show was just making shit up as they went along, butchering characters left and right and lacking continuity, until I couldn't take it anymore and just stopped watching.

The show got canceled leaving people unsatisfied, many left before that happened and now when people mention Heroes people shake their heads going, "what happened?"

Supernatural shouldn't go down that road. And yet it appears it is. :/

What the creator has in mind for the show is vastly different from what the showrunner has in mind. Hence, the many million directions the show is heading right now. I have a feeling that the S5 finale was due to her direction or idea because that was just stupid and lame.

If the way S6 is now, I rather there won't be a S7 because I don't think I can actually sit and watch more of it. I'm already starting to skip a couple of episodes after the show returned from hiatus. And there are plenty of new shiny shows to occupy my time.

Not only that, but you could tell things weren't really going anywhere just in the last several episodes of S5 because everything seemed so randomly added. Why add Brady into the mix when he amounted to nothing? Why have Dean's entire storyline be thrown out the window? Why have such a lame ending to an epic apocalypse? Sera Gamble just ruins everything awesomely epic and invades with her bullshitty melodrama that nobody wants. -__-

I'm already starting to skip a couple of episodes after the show returned from hiatus. And there are plenty of new shiny shows to occupy my time.

lol, that's exactly how I've been, as well. You know the show has a huge problem when several people in fandom are being selective of the episodes they want to watch of the season. I pray that there won't be a seventh season if they cannot get someone to replace Gamble for the showrunner spot.
