DEAN AND CASTIEL'S ~BONDING TIME~

01. CASTIEL IS SITTING ON DEAN'S BED IN THE BEGINNING. So obviously, this is definitely their "after sexytiems" post-coital moment in discussing some serious business. Very reminiscent to how Cas was perched on the edge of his bed back in 4.03 if I recall. But this is more connected to their ~profound bond~, of course, which makes me kinda happy. ♥

02. Remember what I talked about earlier? Seems like Castiel is making the same predictions as well about Lucifer and Michael and Sam down in the cage and possibly fighting things out. Although it makes me wonder how Castiel knows that's what's happening down there, and also, he mentions them being down in the cage "for a year". Isn't time in Hell different, or does that not apply to Lucifer's cage? Or is the show retconning yet again?

03. ALSO, Y U NO MENTION ADAM GODDAMMIT?!?!?! HE FELL IN THE CAGE TOO YOU KNOW. Someone pointed out that Adam could have been returned to Heaven once Michael took over, however I highly doubt that's how the rules work when taking a vessel. And even if that were the case, they should at least mention him at some point, he was an unfortunate victim of all of this too and deserves recognition for all he'd done and sacrificed.

04. Ummmm, do I wanna know what "mutilated thing" they wanna shove down Sam's throat? It sounds incredibly disturbing..... O_o


In the general sense I've been feeling rather indifferent about the show lately, for obvious reasons everyone probably already knows, in spite of my reviews and metas and questions revolving around certain subjects. My love for the characters/actors hasn't really changed, just the direction the show has been taking and what has left me feeling unimpressed/frustrated with the structure and story so far. I think I'm more looking forward to the second half of the season rather than this half because it will be dealing with my bb Castiel and the angel mytharc a lot more because hey, angelical civil war? How awesome is that? :D Let's just hope they actually get to it instead of it being only background noise, though I'm surprisingly optimistic that there will be something happening on that front down the line. I also read some semi-spoilers of what might be happening in episode 6.11 and it makes me excitedly anxious which I haven't felt in some time, but I'll post about that later.

I still maintain the idea that they should have just done a televised movie to wrap up the Winchester story and done a spin-off with Castiel and the angels, since it seems more logical and would have made all sides happy, but whatever.

02. Oh, that's an interesting way of looking at it. I rather like that theory. If the show doesn't give any kind of logical explanation, or any explanation at all about their own rules regarding their mythology, I'd definitely go with that because an Inception-based level of Hell, aka Lucifer's cage? I'm all for that, totally.

03. I KNOW RIGHT? JESUS SOMETIMES I FEEL LIKE FANDOM IS MORE INVENTIVE THAN THE ACTUAL SHOW, AND THAT'S SAD. PEOPLE, THIS SHIT IS INTERESTING. YOU BROUGHT IT FORTH, USE IT! BUDGET NEED NOT APPLY, DAMMIT.

04. It's mentioned in the cage, but is it really? How do we even know? Is Castiel just reaching for something that is less horrific than a reality we'd rather not know? Is Crowley lying? Also this gets kind of confusing because of the Sam we see now that is soulless, but the Sam that we know is elsewhere, it's hard to keep track on what exactly we should be looking at and how. Henceforth the entire sloppiness of this entire storyline of WHERE IS SAM'S SOUL AND HOW TO GET IT BACK. It's a tired and complicated thing, and for a show that doesn't deal with complicated stuff that well it is gonna go downhill in making any kind of sense.

Moreover, I'd rather not want Sam's soul to have been tormented in Hell because, after Dean, I feel like only Dean should have had that kind of trauma because that was more emotionally affective than what is happening this right now. I'm just saying....

Like, do we actually know Sam's soul is still in there? Was Crowley supposed to have it or not? (Which, tbh, I really do not buy he has it or can even get access to it.) It's just there are SO many unexplained things that clearly need to be explained and just. Y U NO EXPLAIN?

01. HEEEEE! I APPROVE MIGHTILY OF THAT GIF. because they totes are fucking like bunnies, it's completely canon and everyone knows it

02. Yessss! I agree, and archangels that have that kind of abilities can have elaborate sorts of ~versions~ of what they can do in that kind of caged limbo they are in. THIS NEEDS TO BE TURNED INTO A STORY NOW! ALONG WITH A VERSION OF SAM/ADAM/LUCIFER/MICHAEL HAVING SOME KIND OF BITCHFIGHT IN THE CAGE AND RESOLVE IT BY PLAYING CONNECT FOUR MILLION. XD

04. I don't buy that Crowley has it either. There is absolutely no possible way Crowley could have done all of that even if he had been prompted to King of Hell; it took the demons all this time to know where LUCIFER'S CAGE WAS and COMMUNICATE WITH LUCIFER via certain rituals and such. It's hard to really kind of think that Crowley could do all of this without some kind of influence or help. And even so, all of this soul-dealing business seems far too....idk, overdone by this show. Perhaps that's the point, they always deal with things they aren't supposed to. But this is kinda beating a dead horse. GIVE US SOMETHING NEW SHOW AND JUST GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT ABOUT YOUR OWN MYTHOLOGY AND RULES. GODDAMN.

(I have a vague theory that Balthazar might be behind something of this, but I don't know....just a feeling.....)
