Michael and Lucifer downtime?
Nov. 28th, 2010 02:16 pmI'm actually wondering, since Lucifer and Michael are still trapped in the cage, would they be succumbed to having a little brotherly bonding time, or fighting it out as they were supposed to have done and then, after years Hell-time of duking it out, they start bonding and making amends? Also, assuming that Sam's soul is still trapped in there as well (however they plan on explaining that), would he be kind of playing referee? Hey, what better way spending solitary confinement with two archangels trying to sort out their brotherly and familial differences. It would actually be a metaphor of the Winchesters, the fact they keep rehashing the same-old issues and it would take centuries for them to come to any kind of resolve or moving forward. Not that I like that direction they're still doing for them honestly, it's boring as fuck now, but whatever.
Also, I miss Marksha. ;___; Despite being an important factor last season they really underused him. I am sorely disappoint. MARKSHA COME BACK TO US!
They also need to mention Adam somewhere this season. Neglecting him is just making their continuity failings even worse. Just saying.

Date: 2010-11-29 01:40 am (UTC)I know, Adam is just doomed XD
We'll just have to wait for Castiel to solve it then, soulless Sam is odd. He did bring on the lulz in the last episode though, hopefully this season will go up instead of down after this.
They need to bring the Apocalypse back, and have an epic battle like there was supposed to be last season. I hope they don't bring it back for a seventh season(even though I'll probably watch it if they do).

Date: 2010-11-29 02:11 am (UTC)I think I'm more looking forward to them dealing with the angel civil war in the latter half of the season, that'll be featured after winter hiatus, than all of this mess right now because I am more interested in that. But I've always been more intrigued and fascinated by the angelical mytharc more since it was introduced, plus civil war in Heaven? How awesome is that? ;D
I pray to God that there won't be another season. They keep saying that Jared and Jensen already signed on for a seventh, but that's just in their contracts. I just, this show should have been done and over with last season (had they dealt with it correctly, given us an epic apocalyptic battle and whatnot; somehow I feel like they're trying to compete with BTVS in having seven seasons, or that the network is fishing for all they can which would be almost like selling out in a way....)

Date: 2010-11-29 02:52 am (UTC)For some reason I thought you didn't care for Adam, so now I'm like who was that? lol. I'm hoping he'll return because it'll be complete show fail if he doesn't at some point.
From what they've touched on with the angelic civil war, I don't think they'll be letting us down. It might even pull the show out of being completely AU on crack once they finally crack that portion of the show open. But for now, it's in a weird what on earth are they doing phase. Plus they could have negotiated for Sam's soul when they did the same for Bobby. But obviously they needed to ditch that since they need the two of them working for Crowley, which I'm interested in seeing what he's got planned.
I hope there won't be a seventh season, which we might get depending on if they like the ratings for this season. I'm hoping they end it since it's now going for one season too long, even though I do like some things this season so it's not a complete travesty. But the rest could have been done better, there should have been more thought put into the fail!sauce portion of the show.

I hope it will too, because I am so disinterested with most of what is happening right now, and it's halfway between being all WTF? to cringeworthiness of what they're doing. Hopefully Castiel and his merry band of angel warriors can save this show from spiraling more downhill.

I blame the network for pressuring Kripke to sell-out his show for another season and Gamble for kind of making all my worst fears come true the moment she took helm. :/ I wished things could have been better and they actually ended things properly with the Apocalypse instead of dragging their feet well, I wouldn't be this disappointed and critical over the show. But ever since the latter half of last season I have been feeling this way. It's sad, really.
