Acting Outlaws: The LA La Ride on Ustream.

Tricia Helfer and Katee Sackhoff have been doing their motorcycle ride from Los Angeles to Louisiana as part of their charity, Acting Outlaws, which is to help raise awareness of what is happening in our environment due to the oil spill in the Gulf. They are also in association with the Gulf Restoration Network which all donated money will go directly to their cause through Acting Outlaws. Every night since the 21st of October they've been doing live online video chats via Ustream which includes what they did that day during their ride, giving stories and details that often lead to much hilarity, answering fans through the live chat box feed, and just being all around awesome and adorable.

Just when I think I couldn't love them more. Seriously, they are the best. Not only doing this for charity, but we're seeing them being absolutely dorky and not in a celebrity setting either. It's kind of refreshing, and oddly they are even more beautiful without all the makeup and star-treatment. ♥ And really, I don't watch reality television however this is one reality show I would totally watch religiously, not even gonna lie. So seriously folks, if you want to see the adorableness of these two, with their Veev and function water and hearing about the "literally" drinking game going on, and even if you want to find someway to help their cause, go watch their videos stay tuned since they are live-streaming tonight at 7:00pm Pacific time!

Here's their first episode the rest are adorable too, however I was particularly amused and laughing until I cried at Katee's hilarious "dawg" story and them realizing their were an hour early for their video-stream! Believe me, you will laugh until you cry too. XD

I love them to pieces. I'd watch their reality show in a heartbeat and can't WAIT for the DVD of their trip.

Of the many new reasons I have to respect and admire them, not least is how totally unself-conscious they both are. They don't mind appearing totally de-glammed (and cursing and acting ridiculous). Yeah they're gorgeous, but for actresses who are always on call to look physically perfect because they'll be scrutinized on TV/magazines/etc., there's something just really ballsy and refreshing about the two of them being their 'normal' selves in front of hundreds of fans so comfortably.

Katee's story about the drunk guy and bouncer was THE BEST. (Randy F---ing Jackson is where I died laughing.) Actually that whole segment (episode?) is the funniest thing ever and couldn't have been better if it was scripted. Between the irony of them being all "We're on time! We're so happy we're on time! Why aren't there more people here?" and then Katee's awesome story and then the realization of their screwup. I don't think anything will top that one.

I actually do 'cause I commented on it! Mostly so I could remember where it was later. XD Around minute 7:30 they shoot finger-lasers at each other, around minute 9:00 is the licking and cracking up.

(I would make the gifs myself if I could figure out how! I can only do it on vids I have saved, not flash ones.)

Also I will stick to searching for Katee because I DID NOT REALIZE THERE WERE NSFW PICS ON TUMBLR. *blush*

I absolutely agree with you, I find them more beautiful as their natural selves without being so dolled up. And that they're comfortable with themselves to do this. I loved that comment Tricia made about getting older is a gift because it's true. Whether they are all dressed up in fancy outfits or they have "helmet hair", they're still gorgeous regardless. Oh, and how much do I adore them cursing? I don't know, I think it's because we hardly hear them saying those words that often that hearing them cursing like sailors constantly in these videos makes me smile. I don't know why, but it just does. :D

lol, I about cracked up as soon as Katee went "OMG I'M GONNA DIE!" XD

Oh, and last night? With them cracking up after mispronouncing the word and then with the nonstop laughter? THAT WAS JUST EQUALLY AS GOOD! I mean seriously, I love it when they just die laughing like that. They're so adorable. And Katee's little snort-laughter, lol! Whenever they starting laugh, I laugh. It's contagious.

I CANNOT WAIT TO BUY THE DVD WHEN IT'S ALL FINISHED! \O/

And yeah, with gifs I just search Tumblr tags. It's amazing how some people are getting them rather quickly, not that I'm complaining of course. ;)

My love for them is huge. Like this huge! -spreads arms wide, except because she's short, her arms are stubby and so you'll have to imagine how much I adore Tricia and Katee okay? good- THEY'RE FLAWLESS. And amazing and I love that they took the time to do a ustream even though they're probably half tired from biking and the wind and rain etc HOW ARE THEY SO PRECIOUS AND WONDERFUL AND ALTRUISTIC I LOVE THEM.

I signed up for the chat and I'm trying to find a way to comment in their next live-stream about how much we really appreciate them taking the time to do these videos even when they didn't have to because of how tired they seem in some of them.
