JUST MET MARK SHEPPARD.

HE'S SO AMAZING IN PERSON. SO SWEET AND MARVELOUS AND FANTABULOUS. HE HAD A SHOCKED LOOK ON HIS FACE WHEN I MENTIONED THAT I WAITED NEARLY OVER 2 HOURS JUST FOR HIS AUTOGRAPHED. LIKE HE COULDN'T BELIEVE I WAITED ALL THAT TIME JUST FOR HIM. EVEN HIS SECURITY GUARD WAS SYMPATHETIC, TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD HAVE TOLD HIM SO HE COULD HAVE SNUCK ME PAST IF I JUST HAD MARK'S AUTOGRAPH.

HE ALSO COMMENTED ON MY CYLON NAMETAG. HE ALSO SAID THAT HE'S A CYLON. AND I SAID OF COURSE HE WAS BECAUSE HE'S PERFECT. AND WE AGREED THAT HE HAD MANY COPIES. XD

MAKING JOKES WITH MARK ABOUT BSG AND CYLONS IS THE BEST HIGHLIGHT OF THIS INCREDIBLY LONG DAY. TRUTH.

STILL IN AWE RIGHT NOW. CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST MET (AND ASKED QUESTIONS) TO MARK MOTHERFUCKING SHEPPARD.

LOL Isn't Mark fabulous? A few years ago when I attended the really small Firefly con out in Burbank, I sat and chatted with Mark in the lobby one night for like an hour. No one there really seemed to notice him - he was just sitting in the chairs watching people and I sat by him and he just started talking. So sweet!! And god, I could get lost in that voice of his!

Wish I could be there! One of these days I am going to make it to a SPN con, goddammit!!

He's just so utterly delightful, I can't even begin to describe the love I have for him.

I think my favorite part (aside from getting to talk with him briefly when getting his autograph, that will forever be treasured) is how he just completely gushes after the shows he's done. I've seen it before in previous videos of panels he did years ago, he understands the love and passion the fans have for the shows and he appreciates it because he himself is a fan. Like, the entirety of his panel was not just discussing SPN but mostly gushing about those things (Firefly and BSG in particular, and what he loves about it and loves the fans even more) ♥ ♥ ♥

DO IT! It's definitely worth just seeing them (although I would think twice before attending a Creation Con, mostly because they really want to drain your money and rush you through photo ops/autographs with no real interaction with these actors who just said they want to talk with the fans.)

Well, if you have some good recommendations of cons for me to attend to meet them, I would love to hear it! So many of the cons have become just about money lately. Even my beloved Dragoncon. :( The con I met Mark at a few years back sadly went out of business - they spent too much trying to provide the fans with everything we wanted.

It's a shame, isn't it? I know these organizations need the money to stay afloat, however there needs to be a balance with this. Creation kind of takes it over the top, though. Like, I'm surprised they haven't been charging for breathing their air.

If I find a con that's better, I'll let you know. Believe me, I really want to go to the ones overseas because they seem better with getting more interaction time with the actors.

He's an adorably pleasant and delightful man, that Mark Sheppard. He just loves to gush about everything he works on and I've been a fan of his for a while. I know how much he appreciates the support from the fans and even more, he appreciates and respects the work he's doing.

And meeting him was definitely a starstruck moment for me, for reals. :D

Meeting him was one of the highlights of the entire weekend for me. And he just made everything even happier and brighter because he talked with me for a little while, and we joked about Cylons and it was awesome. :D

HE IS! OMG, I swear I was all giddy and I was almost floating away after speaking with him at his autograph table. Definitely one of my own highlights of the weekend, for sure. :D

I also love hearing him speak in general, not just because of his velvety voice of his but also because of how genuine he is when speaking fondly about the work he does and loving the fans. ♥ I just, yeah. His panel was definitely so amazing.

I adore the man. At DragonCon I asked if he'd talk to a friend (fellow fan) if I called her. We had tried so hard to get her to DragonCon (she ha cancer) and she just wasn't well enough. He said sure and spoke to her for a few minutes.

D'awwwww, that is uber sweet! And of course he would do that. I knew from the moment I saw him and heard him speak with fans (not just at this con, but previous ones too) that he seems like that kind of a guy who would. Hell, he had sympathy for me when he heard that I waited nearly three hours just to get his autograph. ♥
