The heat's just getting started.

As the calender says it is officially summer, although here in California it's felt like it has been for several weeks now. The heat and humidity is almost unbearable if you have no AC or fan in your house or car. Seriously folks, it's been SCORCHING HOT over here, like you wouldn't believe. I hope all my fellow Californians, and anyone else living in incredibly heat waved states, are staying cool this summer or surviving it at least.

I am now addicted to watching Friday Night Lights. How in the world did this happen? I just downloaded the pilot yesterday, since I was intrigued and wanted to know what all the hype was about, and after that I couldn't stop. I blame Adrianne Palicki, whose incredible hotness drew me in. I'll be finishing S1 sometime this week and then will start on S2. Just what I need, another fandom.

And Photobucket is back and functioning properly again. Huzzah!

I went to the store for like, only some minutes to get something, and when I came back the inside of the car was like a freaking sauna. Yep, California heat...making everywhere seem like Death Valley. OMG.

FNL IS AWESOME! I agree, Adrianne Palicki is really the greatest thing about the show. She is AMAZING. I love Tyra. I love everyone, really, but Tyra and Jason are my favorites. I'm glad the show sucked you in, season one is like, the most perfect season of television ever.

Isn't it though? I mean, honestly I knew of the show and that Jess from SPN was in it, but I didn't really get into watching it due to other fandoms I was committed to. But now, with the hiatus of our many beloved shows, I decided what the hell. Couldn't hurt to try it out, right? After the pilot, which I adored since it reminded me so much of Varsity Blues, I got hooked. This is something I never expected since I'm not really into football, but it's much more than a show about football. So much more.

Tyra is love. Adrianne is like, so freaking awesome in this show. Srsly. I love her.

Lol i never thought i would like friday night lights, but i do. I'm almost finished the first season, and the second is sitting here waiting for me. I was the same as you - i wanted to know what the hype was!!! but yeah, i Love Matt :)

Exactly. Me, I know nothing about football plays and strategies, hell I'm not even into the sport at all, but there's something about the passion and the teamwork of these characters that just grips at you, y'know?
