I finally own both seasons of Tru Calling on DVD. I'm actually surprised it took me this long to get it, but I'm not complaining since I just rediscovered my love for this show. And Eliza, because she's gorgeous and hot and talented and awesome. Yes. Last night I popped in the first disc and watched to the second episode where MICHAEL TRUCCO guest-stars. Seeing him and Eliza together on my screen, I'm surprised the DVD didn't burn up from their hotness alone. Seriously. Needless to say I loved his character, not unlike Anders which is okay, though it makes me wish his character lasted longer into the rest of the series. Obviously because I'm shallow, but I think he would've been good for Tru for various reasons. Why, oh why did this show get cancelled?

This has me more excited for Dollhouse, since I can't wait to see what Eliza has in store for Echo.

And now the plotbunnies have me thinking of possible ways for a Heroes and Tru Calling crossover. I know, the parallels of fandoms can be found almost everywhere, but the mythological arcs of both series seem to have certain similarities, the same way I see BSG as well.

INORITE? Though FOX has done nicely keeping some shows like Bones and House, and for picking up TSCC. I just pray that Dollhouse gets its full run like the network promised. Lord knows we need more Eliza/Joss goodness. :)

Seriously so annoyed that they picked it up for a season 2 and then cancelled it before any of them aired. Then they burned five out of the six that were finished off during four weeks in March. Why can't FOX just give shows that have one week left that one week? GOD.

Sorry, still bitter about TC (and The American Embassy). Sure I'm bitter about Wonderfalls too, but okay, that had 9 unaired episodes. That's a little more commitment than just one week.

Lord knows we need more Eliza/Joss goodness. :)

Yeah, my bitterness hasn't left either. I'm just giving FOX the benefit of the doubt on this one. Seriously, that network makes me want to break things but I continue to go back to it. It's the bad boyfriend of networks, dammit.

I love Tru Calling! Fox is evil, it cancels way too many awesome shows! I have no idea who Michael Trucco is... but my favorite character on that show had to be Harrison, I loved that guy...

FOX doesn't give certain shows a fair chance, whereas there are shows out there that should've never gone passed their pilot episodes. Srsly.

OMG I'm so excited for this show. It will be awesome. So far I love everything I heard about it. Here's to hoping that nobody messes it up.
