Jul. 10th, 2009 02:42 am++ I heard about what happened on Torchwood, and while I haven't seen it I just have to say that due to the wide range of reactions seen all over, unless by some miracle everything is straightened out by the next episode, the show just lost half of its fanbase and I am totally not joking here. It's funny because I'm like way behind on watching the show and I'm not even part of the fandom anyway, but reading what happened? Yeah, I couldn't avoid it.
++ I think this has just revived my love for Katie Cassidy:

Even though I'd really wished Katie had stuck around to play Ruby in SPN despite the direction they took the character in season four, she's been getting amazing gigs and rising up in her career since her appearance. So, yay! I'm happy for her, and will practically follow her wherever she goes. Because she is awesome. ♥

++ So it seems that SciFi wants to have another space-opera series now that Battlestar Galactica is done, wanting something along the lines of Firefly and Farscape. Part of me wants them to really consider picking up Ron D. Moore's Virtuality because, dammit, it has the potential of being a space opera mystery for sure with the setup the pilot-movie had. In fact, I think this would be the perfect time to pitch it to SciFi and see if they'll bite. Because it's RDM after all. Of course, I wonder what else they would have in mind along the space opera genre.
