A SONG YOU DISCOVERED THIS MONTH
"Heartless Madness" by Dynazty
A SONG THAT MAKES YOU SMILE
"Everytime We Touch" by Cascada
A SONG THAT MAKES YOU CRY
"Remember" by Josh Groban
It's not so much crying as it is just getting deeply emotional. Of course, I'm like this with a lot of things, but there is just something about the way Josh Groban sings that gets to me so I react similarly with a lot of his songs, even if it's a happy song.
A SONG THAT YOU KNOW ALL THE LYRICS
lol, that could be almost everything in my music collection because when I like a song I'll listen to it ad nauseum to the point where I'll know all the lyrics.
A SONG THAT PROVES THAT YOU HAVE GOOD TASTE
"Fxxk Boyz Get Money" by FEMM
A SONG TITLE THAT IS IN ALL LOWERCASE
"pporappippam" by Sunmi
A SONG TITLE THAT IS IN ALL UPPERCASE
"VILLAIN" by K/DA ft. Madison Beer and Kim Petras
AN UNDERRATED SONG
"No More" by Dreamcatcher
I'm not always sure what constitutes as an underrated song since I don't pay attention to the general consensus of what is popular or not, but when it comes to Dreamcatcher, an underrated Kpop girl group as it is, I think this is among their most underrated song. It's from their Japanese EP album, and while the group has always leaned more into the rock aspect of their works this one goes much harder, leaning more into metal-sounding. It's a sound I wish we heard from them more often, but alas mainstream Kpop isn't exactly rock/metal-friendly.
A SONG THAT HAS THREE WORDS
"Girls On Top" by BoA
A SONG FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD
"Point Of No Return" by Exposé
A SONG THAT REMINDS YOU OF SUMMERTIME
"Cruel Summer (Big Bonus Mix)" by Ace Of Base
A SONG THAT YOU FEEL NOSTALGIC TO
"Stuck" by Stacie Orrico
THE FIRST SONG THAT PLAYS OF SHUFFLE
"Anystar" by Hyori Lee
A SONG THAT SOMEONE SHOWED YOU
"ZITTI E BUONI" by Måneskin
Kind of virtually showed me really, because of the 2021 Eurovision people were liveblogging about it and Måneskin won last year and so I got shown their song since people were raving about it, and I have to say it really is very, very good.
A SONG FROM A MOVIE SOUNDTRACK
"Nightmare" by Tuesday Knight (from A Nightmare On Elm Street 4: The Dream Master)
A SONG FROM A TELEVISION SOUNDTRACK
"All Along The Watchtower" by Bear McCreary (ft. Brandan McCreary) (from Battlestar Galactica, Season 3)
A SONG ABOUT BEING 17
"brutal" by Olivia Rodrigo
A SONG THAT REMINDS YOU OF SOMEBODY
"How Do I Live" by Leann Rimes
A SONG TO DRIVE TO
"Renegade" by Daughtry
A SONG WITH A NUMBER IN THE TITLE
"300,000,000" by GUNS
Okay so, I wanted to put this here because I felt like more people need to know about this album. It's called GUNS: The Album which consists of songs that focus entirely on the topic of gun violence and gun control in America to spread awareness of the issue in various ways, from about Columbine ("On Columbine") to "300,000,00" as linked above which is sung from the firearms' perspective.
A SONG THAT YOU LISTEN TO A 3AM IN THE MORNING
"Llama In My Living Room" by AronChupa & Little Sis Nora
A SONG WITH A LONG TITLE
"Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums" by A Perfect Circle
A SONG WITH A COLOR IN THE TITLE
"Red-Blooded Woman" by Kylie Minogue
A SONG THAT GETS STUCK IN YOUR HEAD
Pretty much any song that I have on repeat, honestly. Mostly it's been Dreamcatcher songs, and it's been either "Black or White" or "PIRI".
A SONG IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE
"Inama Nushif" by Brian Tyler (from the Children of Dune miniseries)
Since I already have songs in other languages in this meme, I wanted to do fictional languages. This is from the Children of Dune miniseries that aired on Syfy years ago, which supposedly is what they pieced together the Fremen language to create this beautiful song.
(Bonus: "Kalagyi Anaila Kaziri" by Bear McCreary from Defiance)
A SONG THAT HELPS YOU FALL ASLEEP AT NIGHT
I don't really listen to music in order to fall to sleep, unless you count certain white noises which I tend to listen to anything involving rain/rainstorms/thunderstorms. I find a variety of them on YouTube, such as this one.
A SONG THAT DESCRIBES HOW YOU FEEL RIGHT NOW
"Stay Happy" by Au/Ra
A SONG THAT YOU USED TO HATE BUT LOVE TODAY
I don't think really anything? There will be songs that I'll get sick of because they're overplayed, but there's nothing that comes to mind when it's a song that I hate but end up loving later.
A SONG THAT YOU DOWNLOADED
Most recently: "BxMxC" by BABYMETAL
A SONG THAT YOU WANT TO SHARE
"We Won't Be Falling" by Chen Xueran (from Guardian)
Because I've been really deep into Guardian lately, I need to just share the main theme with people.
This was much harder than expected since I have such an extensive playlist that it's impossible to try and search, let alone pick, a singular song for each category.
So, additionally, what have you all been listening to lately?
