For those who want to help during this time, but have no money to do so, by streaming this video without adblock or skipping any ads (and without pausing and having the volume up at least 50%) your view count will help provide, through AdSense, the means of donations to go towards the appropriate BLM organizations and associations. Please pass along and share this link with others to do the same. In the video description are also links to various petitions to sign, as well.

I know many are feeling overwhelmed with everything that's been happening, the feeling of anger and frustration and helplessness and utter disgust in the face of such brutal injustice and racial discrimination, and the frightening reality that those in charge aren't doing anything to stop or protect others but further perpetuate this state of fear and racial injustice towards black lives, but please don't feel discouraged from doing something. Every little thing still counts as an act of protest even if you're not doing so from the streets, from signing petitions to donations to even streaming the video above. Keep sharing any legitimate links you find, and keep talking about it.

Stay safe everyone. ❤

It's okay to be angry. You should be angry.

I've seen those same old song-and-dance from people who are doing the whole "not all cops are bad" thin blue line nonsense, and it's truly unbelievable at their willful ignorance. This country unfortunately has a huge issue in regards to this false pretense of patriotism surrounding the police (and the military), and it's so ingrained into our culture that most don't see anything wrong with it and will blindly defend them even when something is seriously wrong with the system. Because that's what this is about. It's about the long, ugly history of systematic and institutionalized racism and oppression which is why these protests are happening. Which is why we're sick and tired of having to mourn and be angry about yet another unjust and cruel murder of an unarmed black person simply for merely existing. It's not about "good cops" or "bad cops", because the entire system is corrupt and they all fall underneath it, the "bad" ones will be more noticeable but the so-called "good" ones will stand by and do nothing, thereby being complicit and are just as bad. It's all police brutality, no matter which way you look at it.

I have many thoughts on this, and quite frankly I'm getting worked up just typing all of this out. But it needs to be said. And those who don't get it, well, I hope that they eventually will but some will just don't care one way or another because they want to stay ignorant, because they don't want to change the way they think, don't want to educate themselves for whatever reason. And that's sad.

(With that being said, I heard that all the cops present for Floyd's murder were charged and that the main one has gone from third-degree to second-degree murder. So, that's something. I just hope that they're all properly punished, otherwise there will be more outrage and protests. I mean, again I don't have much faith in the justice system, but like I mentioned previously I hope that I'm wrong and we'll actually see justice being served.)
