++ The reveal that Keanu Reeves is going to be in Cyberpunk 2077, never mind his appearance presenting the game at the conference after that reveal happened, was probably the best moment in E3 history. I think that moment overshadowed everything else at the event, tbh. Everyone is practically in love with Keanu. I was already intrigued by Cyberpunk 2077, but now I'm really excited for it. But the most important question is: will Keanu's character be romanceable?

++ Kesha released a brand new song called, "Rich, White, Straight, Men" which is a gigantic middle finger to the patriarchy. I approve. Also, this is a completely different sound from what we're used to hearing from her. It has a sort of dark cabaret vibe, similar to that of The Dresden Dolls (specifically "Coin-Operated Boy") and Emilie Autumn. It may be an acquired taste for some people considering it is more of an experimental kind of track, but I personally really dig it.

++ Ever since the news broke out that Swamp Thing has been cancelled after only one episode, which completely blindsided and baffled everyone and there's been varying reports as to the reasons why, many have been questioning the future of DC shows, especially since one of the reasons given is that the people at WarnerMedia seem to want all DC shows to be similar to the CW formula. Understandably, many are pissed. You cannot place these shows underneath the same kind of formula, superhero stories are not homogeneous. They can, and should, have variety to reach a whole bunch of different audiences and not just the same thing over and over again. Some can be family-friendly, while others can be more mature and dark in content. Not everything has to be absolutely the same, otherwise it gets boring real fast, and this is part of a larger problem overall with higher ups looking at things at being marketable versus having a good story the curse of the entertainment industry, tbh. And this is making people nervous about what will become of shows like Doom Patrol (something I've recently been wanting to watch) which has gotten much praise and positive reception but might also be affected by all this fuckery that's been happening.

Damn, cancelled after one episode aired?? That's so frustrating! I just saw that Crystal Reed was starring in it and now I'm disappointed; she was a treasure on Teen Wolf and I'd been hoping for her to get something good!

I totally agree with you regarding marketability vs actual good storytelling; this is part of the reason why I dropped so many CW shows all at once.

I think many people were excited to see Crystal Reed on their television screens again, so it's really unfortunate that this happened especially the way it happened. :/

The CW has a very basic formula that almost all their programs follow, and only a few rare shows that go against it most of which turn out to actually be good. But otherwise, I wouldn't really hold the CW up as a good business model to follow. They tend to really ruin the things they touch.
