Date: 2019-05-15 02:25 pm (UTC)I completely agree about will-they-won't-they plots! B99 did it rather well with Jake and Amy, but most show drag it on for far too long. I'm pretty sure Whiskey Cavalier wanted to do drag it out for a while, but now it's canceled after S1, I bet nothing will come out of it. It kinda worked on The Mentalist, because they actually went beyond their main storyline which was kind of holding them back I guess, but otherwise that also would have dragged on for six(!) seasons without a conclusion.
The biggest insult to fans is still Tony/Ziva on NCIS. They did the WTWT for nearly 200 episodes, they had one kiss(?) on screen and yet had a child together...
