++ Wonder Girls are officially disbanding, and this makes me incredibly sad. First it was 4Minute, then 2NE1, and now the Wonder Girls. These were the quintessential Kpop girl groups that all debuted in the mid-2000s. Wonder Girls underwent a lot throughout the years, and had just make their comeback last year after a prolonged hiatus. And now they're no more. I was hoping that the recent news of breaking away for JYP Entertainment would have them looking to another company to be signed under, but nope. While I know the girls will be doing things individually, I was really looking forward to seeing what else they could do as a group, since their comeback was so good. Some of their most iconic songs over the years include: "Irony", "Tell Me", "So Hot", "Nobody" (the single they performed while touring with the Jonas Brothers in the U.S.), and their 2016 comeback single, "I Feel You". Thank you, Wonder Girls, for everything, wishing you all the best and may your futures be bright and successful. ♥

++ I'll be honest, I'm not really that attached to the X-Men franchise, however with Logan, just based off the trailers alone, especially the latest one that was released, I'm actually looking forward to seeing what it may bring. Perhaps it's due to the fact that it looks absolutely nothing like the previous X-Men films, less with the blockbuster flash and more emotionally raw and character driven, which seems to be exactly what fans have been wanting for years in regards to a Logan/Wolverine story on the big screen. Considering this is Hugh Jackman's final appearance in the franchise, this is the perfect sendoff for him and his character. Furthermore, just the concept of this film pushes all my buttons: there's the found family aspect with the bonding between Logan and this little girl, along with a redemption arc for his character, and just, ugh, yes. I have such a weakness for those kinds of stories. The fact that this slightly resembles The Last Of Us doesn't help, either (and it might be the closest thing we'll get seeing TLOU live action movie for a while, so I'll take what I can get). If nothing else, I'll be going into this movie for that alone. Plus, the little girl (X-23) being a badass? Sign me the fuck up, please.

++ We finally have the official title for the next Star Wars installment: Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Let all the speculations of what that means begin! I'll just be waiting until December, or at least until we get the first official teaser trailer.

I'm trying not to get my hopes too high (since trailers can be majorly misleading), but it does look quite promising, just from the tone and mood of how the story is presented. It's going to be one emotional ride, that's for sure.

I'm not that surprised that WONDER GIRL is disbanding, regarding what happened last years - practically nothing musically speaking - and the leaving of Sunmi, her comeback then the departure of Sunye and Shoe I knew it would take long before they would disband them. Despite the fact that they tried a new concept band - with instruments - I felt that JYP was trying to come up with a decent end for this historical group.
I can't get over 2NE1 disbanding :( I loved them so muuuuuch and Minzy was my favorite for so long.

In hindsight I shouldn't be surprised, there were a lot of things that happened over the years that kind of predicted this would happen sooner or later, however at the same time I was at least hoping that they would still remain together, at least for a couple more albums. I loved the Wonder Girls ever since they debuted, and I was excited for their new sound and direction, so hearing this was disheartening. :(

I kinda saw 2NE1's disbandment coming when CL started doing her solo stuff and trying to make it in the US market. I'm more shocked by 4Minute, though.

I've read about the Wonder Girls, but there're no feelings attached from my side. But if it makes so sad than it makes me sad.
there was a time I really liked X-Man, but over the years I lost the connection. But the trailer for Logan looks great and it's definitely on my watchlist.

I've followed the Wonder Girls since they debuted, so it was extra heartbreaking especially since they had just returned with a new album. It's always disheartening hearing that they, along with other iconic groups, have disbanded very recently. :(

And since it is his last time portraying Logan/Wolverine I'm pretty sure it was intentional for going in the Old Logan direction, therefore it's definitely going to be an emotional rollarcoaster. I haven't cared much about the franchise but I know I'll get teary-eyed from all the feels. :'(

Yeah, I agree. I like that this is the direction they've decided to take for his last appearance in the franchise, and regardless of anyone's feelings about the previous films this one will be appropriately emotional as his swan song.

I am so so sad with the Wonder Girls disbanding as well :( They were basically the group that paved the way for other kpop groups to become a hit here in the Philippines. Nobody was such a big hit it was used by SOOOO MANY POLITICIANS for their election jingles even after 2 years since the song was released. Their comeback was so good and refreshing as well so this really comes as a surprise to me. And I was really rooting for them from the very start because they're one of the very few girl groups where the girls genuinely like each other :( I really hoped they would sign in another company together but that doesn't seem like the case now. I'll take what I can from their goodbye song </3 So excited for Logan too!!!! I really hope they don't fuck up the plots and the timelines.

To be fair, the X-Men films didn't have a constant record of remaining within their own continuity anyway. I think Logan may be in a different timeline, though. I don't know.
