The best moments and highlights to come out of SDCC 2K15, IMHO:
❤ The official Con Man trailer, the meta spoof of Firefly starring Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion and many other familiar faces (including Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, Joss Whedon, Tricia Helfer, Sean Maher, Gina Torres, etc.)

❤ The Dubsmash battle between Hayley Atwell/Agent Carter and the Agents of Shield cast, which has given me so much life.

❤ Richard Armitage. Richard Armitage wearing Bryan Fuller's Star Wars jacket. Richard Armitage with the SDCC exclusive Byran Fuller Funko Pop Figure. Richard Armitage with a red dragon plushie. Richard Armitage, once again, wearing a flower crown. Richard Armitage putting the red dragon plushie on top of his head with the flower crown. Richard Armitage just being adorable and ridiculously attractive (to a lethal degree). RICHARD. ARMITAGE. (◕ω◕✿)

❤ MILD SPOILERS: First look at Richard Armitage as Francis Dolarhyde in the second half of Hannibal S3. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

❤ Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart were there promoting Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. Markiplier was also there.

❤ Sophie Turner and Natalie Dormer being adorable together.

I feel like the bigger conventions get, the less fun they become, mostly due to how expensive everything gets to the crowds and how the convention staff attempt to organize everything which unfortunately can create way more chaos and problems than needed. I remember the one convention company, Creation Con, is guilty of being so highly disorganized (while ironically trying to be so tight with scheduling) and rushing everyone through everything and being too strict with rules that it's not exactly a favorable fan run convention. And I know many have said that SDCC has gotten too corporate than how it used to be, which while there can still be excitement over things it doesn't feel very fan-appreciated as it once did years ago.

I feel the only convention that I had the pleasure of attending that wasn't terribly disorganized or stressful in that regard was Dragon*Con. At the time I went, while it was crowded (and I did have a mild anxiety attack because of it) it was still highly enjoyable.

I agree. I've found recently that I've had so much more fun going to smaller conventions just outside of my city.

I've not done a Creation event ever, they were banned from Canada for 10 years for tax evasion (the urban legends is that a local fan who worked in the tax business in Canada caught them) but they've been back for a few years and their events just don't seem like fun to me. They're very expensive and you can't just do your own thing, it seems very scheduled.

I'd like to do Dragon*Con one year, it looks great :)
