Date: 2015-06-03 08:07 pm (UTC)I was impressed by how Emma Ishta and Alison Scagliotti's roles are both roles traditionally given to male leads. Especially Emma - the acerbic semi-genius? And Alison is kind of shaping up to be the sarcastic sidekick, also traditionally a male role. So I was really impressed by that!
Otherwise the show seems a bit too outlandish and campy for me, so I doubt I'm going to keep tuning in, but it was a great pilot! And I didn't realize how awesome Alison Scagliotti is! I used to dislike her quite a bit, no idea why now.
