Unpopular Opinions

01. I love the show, but it's been showing its decline in quality for a while now. S1 and S2 were perhaps my favorite seasons simply from the way they were structured, S3 had a great setup for something that could've been epic and amazing but unfortunately it fell incredibly flat in S4. And now S5 has just been dull and lackluster despite it being the last season. Alas, as much as I do love this show they haven't been good with the quality and pacing of writing a good long-lasting plot.

02. I don't like Bo with Lauren. Aside from the lack of chemistry, I have really disliked the way Lauren has treated Bo on numerous occasions (i.e. her not trusting Bo to make her own decisions, not believing in Bo, mocking Bo's level of intelligence, how she emotionally manipulates and has used her and other characters too just to name a few examples). The fact that they're seemingly trying to make it endgame infuriates me, since it's so cliched and stupid and overall it makes no sense given everything we have known about Bo and her status of relationships after they had ended.

03. I miss Kenzi's multi-colored wigs/streaks/hairstyles. :(

04. I liked the idea of Hale/Kenzi since I had shipped them very early on, but in hindsight there were moments where I questioned it. Like when Hale called Kenzi's mother in order to be present when he proposed to her despite her having said repeatedly that she had a horrible relationship with her mom and that was the reason why she ran away and never returned. I also feel cheated that we only got minimal development of what would have been the start of their relationship until the proposal happened and then he died. It felt too rushed for anything to happen, and it makes his death and Kenzi's leaving because of his death kind of, well, meh. :/

05. The show needs more of Bo's mom and less focus on her father and whatever these Greek gods are doing. Just saying.


My Personal Headcanon

Bo is polyamorous, and discovers this quite early on after her relationship with Lauren ended. She tried to be monogamous for her but it didn't work, she actually found it more complicated to be monogamous due to her nature as a Succubus and needing that freedom of having sexual healing from others. And guess what? It works. She is able to have multiple relationships with those in her life without any complications, and they also understand that arrangement, and they're okay with that. Bo loves those in her life and has different needs from each other them, and they're all totally cool with that. Bo is able to keep her extended found family while still maintaining these romantic and sexually based relationships with no complications whatsoever.
