And now, for a fandom meme:
And now, for a fandom meme:
Give me a fandom and I'll tell you, either in the comments or in a separate post, five unpopular opinions and one headcanon I have for that particular fandom.

Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, etc. Most of them didn't make sense to me or just happened out of the blue. I also found it incredibly unrealistic that they remained together all those years later.
02. I love Cho Chang and am incredibly protective of her. ♥
03. I love Draco Malfoy and will forever defend him. ♥
04. The entire Housing system at Hogwarts is flawed as fuck, we all know this, and it's something I wish we learned whether it actually got demolished later on because I find it's incredibly damaging and reenforces the horrible stereotypes that the Wizarding society continues to endorse. It's ironic, though, since we (as fans and the audience) are well aware of this fact, and yet we still get entirely defensive and serious when it comes to our own Sorting inside a particular House. *sighs*
05. I feel like the series would have been better if Harry had been sorted into Slytherin. It would have gone into some fascinating directions. Like, he had already befriended Ron and Hermione and would have to deal with (and even want to change) the way people treated him differently after being sorted. He would also befriend Draco, someone who he clashed with morally but still wanted to be friends with regardless. I just feel like it would have been a better dynamic had Harry gone against the grain of what everyone else expected from him, you know? He would have broken the barriers of being The Boy Who Lived who was a Slytherin and who wanted House Unity to actually be a thing. And his friendship with Draco, while somewhat complicated at times, would have been legit and it would have been beautiful. IDK. The more I think about what could have been I cry because it's such a wasted opportunity to tell the story in a different way.
but I know that's what fanfiction is forMy Personal Headcanon
Harry and Draco met up after the final war and the rebuilding of the Wizarding World. It was awkward at first, because Harry did pardon him and his family during the trials since both he and Narcissa saved his life, but they finally become civil with each other and even become good friends soon thereafter. Lucius is a bit uneasy about this arrangement but he is trying to change (key word being trying), however Narcissa is more than tolerable of the situation and even grateful since Harry places a good word in with Draco when he starts going out into the world again, as I feel that after everything that conspired the Wizarding society might not have been too keen on the Malfoys and their part with associating as Death Eaters and with Voldemort.
Harry himself tries his best to place a good word in for Draco and his family, saying that they've been pardoned from their crimes because they redeemed themselves, but some are less forgiving than others and they nearly get shunned to the point of receiving threatens from families of the fallen and victims of Voldemorts tortures. But it eventually gets better as time goes on, with Harry and Draco with their new found friendship (and perhaps a beginning of a relationship), the Malfoys restore their name in Wizarding society again.
