Unpopular Opinions

01. As much as a disappointment the second season has been, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still shipping the hell out of Abbie/Ichabod, no matter if Ichabod is still technically married. It doesn't help that the two actors are attractive and adorable together, so. :3

02. Katrina either needs to get herself a capable storyline where she does something useful, or just disappear from the show altogether. I just can't anymore.

03. The Headless Horseman (Abraham) needed to remain headless.


My Personal Headcanon

Although Ichabod and Abbie are both linked together being witnesses of the apocalypse and are excellent partners in crime, it's Abbie and Jenny that run the show, and Ichabod knows it. They are all a team that organizes and fights evil and does awesome shit together, with Irving remaining in the background overseeing some of their awesomeness. Ichabod and Abbie then continue being cutie pies as he learns about modern culture, and Jenny shakes her head secretly being a shipper (Irving too).

Even though my main investment in SH is the Abbie-Jenny dynamic, the Abbie/Ichabod relationship is one of the only things saving some of these episodes. They have incredible chemistry.

I've tried so hard to like Katrina. I WANT to like her, but it's impossible given how little the writers care about her. I definitely think they either need to find a way to make her character interesting ASAP or just send her away. She spent forever trapped in Purgatory so it's not like it would even be odd if she decided she wanted to go explore the world for a while. I just hope they don't kill her. I don't have much use for her, but I'd rather she stick around forever then get killed off.

lol, I loathe Abraham/Headless. He was definitely better sans head because at least he was somewhat creepy then. Unlike Katrina, I really hope Abraham dies soon.

Yeah, that's a fear I have when it comes to these things. Usually female characters get the short end of the stick and wind up getting killed off more often than male characters. I think allowing her character to go off exploring the world while Abbie and Ichabod hold down the fort in Sleepy Hollow is the best choice to have, especially if they do decide to bring her character back once they actually have a competent storyline for her to have where she's productive and useful. Perhaps she picks something up along the way of her travels, or we finally get to see how "powerful" of a witch she is that we've been hearing so much about. Because if there's one major gripe I have to this whole Katrina mess is them repeating this very line yet seeing no evidence supporting this claim.

I'm just saddened that the actress has to respond to the hate she's been getting. :(

Ugh, does she? I'm not really in the SH fandom so while I know there's plenty of Katrina hate, I didn't realize how far it extended to poor Katia Winter.
