So many shows, so much time...
Sep. 18th, 2014 04:51 pm++ There are still days available for the monthly questions meme. Both new and old friends can join in, so if you haven't submitted you still can!
++ First look at the Desolation of Smaug extended edition DVD. I am ridiculously excited for this, probably more than I should be, but I've been waiting for the extended version in this film ever since I saw it in theaters. (◕‿◕✿) The only downside is that I have to wait until November, but at least once it arrives it will soothe the ache for the third and final movie the month after.
++ My ways of watching shows has drastically changed over the years. Before I used to like watching shows live, know the schedule in which they appeared in, and if the two overlapped I would record one and watch the other. Nowadays I find I just don't have that amount of energy anymore. I think having more options for watching things has helped in that department for allowing me to catch up on my own time. I also prefer binge watching shows, especially new shows, rather than waiting a week (or longer) between episodes. For my main shows I will try to watch weekly, but with others I'm willing to wait until I can marathon them straight through, even if it sometimes means they will remain on my queue for a while which unfortunately will set me back to catching up on a show that is still going. But I'm surprisingly okay with that.

Date: 2014-09-22 11:52 pm (UTC)Here's one episode and another two week hiatus then another episode and a week hiatus. It just ruins the flow and the story telling so much.
For real, and worse is when a show will have those filler episodes or "sweep" episodes in between those times. That's when the flow of everything gets ruined, imo. It's ridiculous.
