I didn't particularly care for the last book, but the films have added a little more substance to what is happening within that world and the other characters that I think I'll end up liking what they do, at least for the first part.
It's kind of ridiculous how almost every franchise now being adapted into films has to have the final film being split into two films. With some it can work and the director takes advantage of that to explore the story more than with a restricted timeframe, but in general it's overdone and it's gotten to the point where it's just about the money rather than expanding the storytelling, tbh.
But with Mockingjay, I don't know, I feel like it can actually work since they can actually expand and explore what is happening with the revolution since it was quite limited in the book.
