Defiance has been renewed for a second season.

Killer Women, starring BSG alums Tricia Helfer and Michael Trucco, has been picked up by ABC.

Nikita has been renewed for a fourth season. Our underdog show gets another season and I am so happy. Although it seems that there's uncertainty about how many episodes the season will contain, and apparently it'll be lesser than previous seasons. Possibly under ten? Idk.

It appears that The Borgias might not be getting a fourth season, and instead the story will possibly be wrapped up by a two-hour televised movie. At least, that's what is being talked about behind the scenes.

Now all we need is news regarding Hannibal. *crosses all the fingers*

Whaaaaaat? Is The Borgias doing that badly? This is the first I've heard of this.

Also, *PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE Hannibal S2*
Are we supposed to know about that today? I remember hearing May 12 as the announcement date.

Seriously though. Reading that surprised me since I had thought it was doing remarkably well. At least the producers have things mapped out for the movie to wrap everything up, but still.

As for the announcement, I'm not entirely sure. It could be anything between now and all of this coming week.

After my previous experience with one- or two-season wonders, I'm relieved and slightly surprised that my favorites (Defiance, Once Upon a Time etc.) are all renewed.

Game of Thrones, of course, is always renewed shortly after the season premieres.

I'm surprised that Orphan Black on BBC America is getting a second season, because it seems like the kind of show heading for a definite conclusion in one season. Have you seen it?

I'm just happy that Defiance has gotten a chance to shine because I was afraid that Syfy wouldn't be that generous. But after hearing that the premiere did extremely well at high ratings, I knew that it was a sold deal. :)

Oh, I didn't know that Orphan Black got a second season. That's awesome! :D I have all the episodes so far downloaded, I just have to find the time to watch them all. But I've heard amazing things about it, which makes me super excited to get into it. :D :D

Well, the fact that they were promoting it decently unlike Caprica made me more optimistic, although tempered by past experience.

I've watched all of Orphan Black so far and it's very good so far.
