Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) has finally been ruled constitutional by the Supreme Court
Republicans are now drowning in their own tears. Some of them are now threatening to move to Canada, even though universal healthcare has been part of their system for a long time now, same with the support of gay marriage and other things Republicans actively hate and despise. Other GOP members are thinking about having an "armed rebellion" to overturn the Supreme Court decision. The latter is quite frightening, though not surprising, that these people would resort to violence to actively oppose something so harmless and peaceful and humane as universal healthcare.
Needless to say, not even the tiniest violin is playing for these idiots who lack human decency and compassion.
In any event, I am very happy with this news. It's not a perfect system, but at least it's a step in the right direction. It's something that has been needed for a long time, and it's just sad that it took this long for people to officially say that healthcare insurance is a constitutional right.

I don't have to worry it's going to bankrupt me if I end up in the hospital (and thank GOD for that after the Breaking Dawn induced seizure ended in the movie theatre calling 911 and me being forced to go to the hospital by the paramedics). I'm sure Obamacare has its flaws, but to me it means that I'll worry a little less about my American friends not getting the care they need to when something is seriously wrong because they don't have insurance... and for that I say YAY.
