Preparing my creys...

I'm preparing myself for tonight. I've got comfort food at the ready, and I've been watching some of the most depressing episodes of shows I can think of at the moment to steel myself from completely losing it tonight.

I mean fuck, I just finished watching "The Body" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (because I like to torture myself in that way, and because Joss is a genius when it comes to breaking our hearts) and it still gets to me, every single time. And it got me thinking...what if tonight's episode is going to have that exact same impact on me? What if I feel too emotionally drained after tonight's episode that I'll be so disconnected with reality for a little bit, just want to be by myself for a while? This is what's making me anxious and excited at the same time, because I haven't been this excited for an episode all season and knowing Edlund, he's gonna knock it all out of the ballpark, leaving us in a heap of incoherent blubbering messes.

What are you all doing before tonight's episode?

All I hope for with tonight's episode is that the angst makes sense. Cause of right now, I don't see working with Crowley as a real betrayal. They've all worked with Crowley. Whatever Cas has been doing with souls is unquestionably bad, but I'm also not sure how much of a *personal betrayal* it is. I'm just saying.

Unless it has something to do with Sam's soul, which I can definitely see it being a personal betrayal of trust for Dean if Cas had known all along about what was up with that....

But I agree, the angst has to make sense. I trust Edlund, and even if this season has been a huge clusterfuck he will undoubtedly make this episode worthwhile with the levels of angst and heartache.

I really hope it doesn't have to do with Sam's soul, because that means Cas has been lying since 6x03.

I'm fearing the worst possible scenarios how this can go down, bb. D:
