++ For all Nikita fans: If you want Nikita to stay on the air and be renewed, please comment here explaining why so TPTB know what the viewers want. Though honestly, even if you aren't watching the show just say they should keep it regardless, because we severely need more kickass, independent women on network television and there's been such a huge lack of them. More importantly, female leads who are Asian hardly are ever seen, plus the show is pretty wicked and amazing in itself. The CW doesn't have this kind of diversity on its network, it's time to change that and make Nikita part of its lineup and successful, too. The demographic shouldn't be just about melodramatic teen shows. It's for self-sufficient assassin women, as well. ;)

++ Okay, so I don't really watch Glee. I've only seen the pilot but as soon as it went to series I wasn't that wild about it as a whole, as it was completely different in the vibe than how I originally thought it was going to be plus all the controversy/drama surrounding it left a bad taste in my mouth. So I decided it just wasn't the show for me. However, there is one specific thing that has been grabbing my attention lately, because everyone is squeeing about it, and after last night with that scene, it's totally undeniable.

Now if only they got Dean/Castiel to do something like that I would die with utter happiness and forgive all the horrible mistakes the show has ever made, for real though. CANON GAY, IT MAKES ME HAVE WARM FUZZIES FEELINGS INSIDE.

I also want to say that, personally, I'm very proud of Darren Criss. I may not be a fan of the Glee in general, but Darren has really moved up from being Harry Potter in Team StarKid's A Very Potter Musical to being a regular on one of the most popular shows on network television right now. It's sort of like watching him grow up in a way, even though it wasn't that long ago, lol. So I'm very happy for him getting this kind of publicity, and also for playing a gay character on a show that airs on FOX, a network that is notorious for their rather conservative views particularly on homosexuality. So, major kudos not just for Darren's success, but for the show for actually giving us something worthwhile for LGBT youths who watch the show.

That's an interesting question, actually. Before I would have said Dean, however we've seen on multiple occasions that Castiel likes to be more dominant in situations, particularly if he is sexually frustrated with Dean and during some kind of confrontation, it ends up being Castiel making the first move. Then again I mostly take this somewhat because I always sense Cas as this bamf!angel that he always is and with Dean there's just all that tension that he would have to do something about it (ex. wall!slamming)

As for something sweeter and slower, I can definitely see Dean initiating something like that to start off, as somewhat experimenting with. But then of course, Castiel being impatient would want to take control of the situation. I don't know, it varies depending on the context whether it's an immediate thing or planned out, like all the fics I read about Castiel being curious and Dean guiding him through, only to have Castiel becoming more dominant as things progress.

As you can tell, I have thought this through. ;D

I can see the first scenario more, I mean, if it ever happened in canon. It would be quick and probably one sided, coming from frustration or wall slamming. Or you, like an awkward kiss before Cas goes back to heaven for good or something.

I get the weirdest feeling that all these friendship spoilers are talking about Cas and Bal, though. I don't know why. At this point, I am starting to resent any Cas/Bal friendship, because it IS taking away from D/C. Apparently, Cas can only have one friend at a time? IDK. But we've had Dean and Cas bascially be nothing but antagonistic to each other all season, and it's making me grumpy.

But if they kissed all would be forgiven. I know, that's so reaching there.

Glee is something like my guilty pleasure, where I completely ignore the drama and anything that could possibly be taken seriously, and just enjoy the rest.
That kiss had me melting. Those two are too adorable for words.

Considering the tension between Dean and Castiel are right now, I'd expect a kiss between them to start from frustration and then possibly turn into something sweeter than Dean would ever admit. I can picture Cas just slamming Dean into a wall in the middle of a confrontation and kissing him, Dean being too stunned to react for a moment, and then grabbing Cas to kiss him back. It won't solve all the problems between them, but it'll certainly help.
Huh, looks like I haven't completely given up on that ship after all.

Sadly, I get what you mean. Although I don't resent Cas/Balthazar because I want there to be more exploration of their friendship obviously. I just sort of blame this season (and Sera Gamble) as a whole because while they say that they are friends there's been no evidence suggesting that at all. The tension is just different between them, not at all like S4 or S5 and it's really distressing that there's no explanation for it. Yeah, with the controversial kinds of wank that have occurred in the Glee fandom I take note of it and place it aside. When somethings like this catches my interest, I just focus on that and nothing else, since I barely watch the show anyway, lol.

This scene was happy-making, though. I also loved the hand-holding at the end. ♥

I just responded above that that's how my scenario would go. Castiel would be the first to initiate and Dean would be kind of stunned at first, but then, because of their growing tension that is very sexual and unresolved with their frustration at each other, he would react just as passionately because Dean is a reactor like that. They would definitely fight for dominance in that situation and release that tension, but then have to deal with the ramifications of what happened between them by taking it to that level. Once understanding their feelings and where it all comes from, it can take on a softer, more sweeter side than just hardcore USTing (although that, too, can be part of the deal as well)

Hehe, I will never give up on this ship even if the show fails on epic levels with them canonically. Praying that never happens though and that they get their shit straightened out (and Edlund takes charge when Gamble steps down, or better gets fired.)

I think it's a big step in the right direction. I know that girl/girl kissing has been seen sometimes on network television, even in mild cases, but never male/male and definitely not as passionate and heartfelt like this. ♥

Oh, definitely. Castiel isn't afraid on getting all up in Dean's ~personal space~ and once he senses Dean backing down from his true feelings and possibly denying or never going through with it because of those second guessing fears, Cas will act on impulse and just dominant the situation. Dean would be rather startled, but being impulsive that he is and realizing that he cannot hide his feelings, especially not from Castiel who knows him inside and out, will just go with it and one things leads to another.....and, yeah. ;) Castiel is the more dominant in these scenarios, I think.

I don't ever recall that scene, since that never happened in my canon brain bleach always needed here. However in proper show canon Castiel has often been very personal space invadey whenever he was frustrated with Dean, including wall!slamming him twice trying to get his point across. Imagine him being so sexually frustrated, and fed up with Dean a la "Point of No Return" and instead of throwing fits he ravages Dean's mouth instead? Oh yeah, he would be the dom in that scenario, for sure. ;D

Awwww, don't ever doubt bb. :( I still get that vibe, even with the nonsense that's been happening this season. I just think with all that he's been dealing with in regards of the war he's been fighting it's just taking a lot out of him, he's tired, and worried about many things. I still believe he loves and cares for Dean deeply, but with everything it's harder to let his guard down and he has to go into Heavenly soldier mode, and Dean's asshole tendencies has left him feeling confused. If anything, it's still one-sided at the moment but I want there to be something that smacks Dean upside the head and be all WAKE UP CAS IS IN LOVE WITH YOU STOP ACTING LIKE AN ASSHOLE AND APOLOGIZE TO HIM, DAMMIT.

I think it's kind of a tie, since I actually had to think for a moment with who initiates the kiss in fics. It depends on the circumstances, sometimes it's accidental, sometimes it's experimental or "first time" kind of deal, and others it just happens because of such UST as we're discussing, and it switches from Dean to Cas. But I personally love bamf!Cas taking control but being very thorough and experimental with how he takes things.

I watch the show, but I've never bothered to take a look at the fandom. I just don't care enough about Glee for that.

Well, I've kinda moved on to Castiel/Balthazar. Mainly because Cas/Dean feels so one-sided this season that I can't take it any more, and Balthazar, while he likes to try to pretend he doesn't care about anything, is just there for Cas.
But I'd much rather have this epic love triangle, where both, Dean and Bal care about Cas and show him as much. Balthazar seems to have accepted Castiel's feelings for Dean, even though I'm sure he still doesn't like it, so if Dean would just stop being such a dick, I'm sure we could have figured this all out by now.

Yeah, some of the performances are kind of okay or mediocre at times, it can be a hit or miss depending, from what I've heard anyway. I've only seen sporadic scenes from the show so I don't know much. BUT THIS? THIS IS A THING OF BEAUTY. I know shipping-wise people are going to be debating on (as you do in any fandom), but Kurt is happy, and Blaine is happy, we should be happy that they're happy together right now. This kiss was too adorable not to love. ♥

From what I've seen, Darren is incredibly appreciative of the opportunity he's been given and very enthusiastic about the role, which for anyone in the business is a step up. I'm happy for him. :D

Considering that's the main demographic of the CW, it's definitely going to be worth mentioning. Never mind that Nikita is like the Alias/Buffy/Xena for the younger generation, since we need more strong, empowering women on network television. It's worth letting people know exactly what we want.
