I'm actually looking forward to the second half of the season, believe it or not, if only because we're finally getting to the juicy stuff involving the angel civil war and possibly more information about purgatory. From this description there's an angel hitman, possibly targeting Castiel, or Balthazar, or both depending, and no doubt probably sent by Raphael. This also makes me wonder about what "personal move" Raphael plans on using against Castiel at some point down the line. Is it with this hitman? Or something else entirely?

Also, alternate universe? I wonder what that's about. Could this be referring to the meta episode? From the minor description of "cross into an AU" it would seem most plausible, and if that's the case could this possibly be a twist for a proper explanation of how and what and why a la "Changing Channels"?

SO MANY POSSIBLE IDEAS AND THOUGHTS AND CONCEPTS RUNNING IN MY HEAD RIGHT NOW, OMG. IT COULD BE THE META EPISODE, FILLED WITH HILARITY BUT HAVE SRS BSNS, OR IT COULD BE ANOTHER EPISODE ENTIRELY (and AU sounds like the season in general so, it totally could be anything really) I JUST AM EXCITED FOR MORE ANGEL ACTION AND ANGEL CIVIL WAR GOODNESS! AND POSSIBLY SOME CASTIEL AND BALTHAZAR SCREENTIME (WITH SOME WHUMPAGE, YEAH? ;D) AND HOPEFULLY SOME GABRIEL. CROSSING FINGERS BECAUSE I WANT OUR GABESTER BACK!!!


I'm also breaking my own rules about spoilers. With Supernatural these days I'd rather see what's gonna happen and whether or not it's worth my time. It didn't used to be the case, since I found the thrill of not knowing anything to keep with the suspense, however these days I'm feeling more frustrated than intrigued. I just don't have the energy anymore, so I'm either reassured or warned about upcoming episodes. Don't worry, still gonna keep things unspoiled for others, I know the drill.

Oh, and deancas_xmas is making me ridiculously happy right now. ♥

I really, really am trying not to get my hopes up too high for one reason and one reason only. What they did, or more to the point, didn't do with Cas's search for God last season. I really want to see more than an ep or two dealing with this and I don't want a lot of it happening offscreen with passing mentions by the characters of what has been happening. PLEASE BASE UP GAMBLE AND CO. AND DELIVER THE GOODS! You would make a lot of fangirls very, very happy.

I agree with you, I NEED more Cas/Balthazar in my life. And more Raphael. And if they promise not to mess Gabriel up horribly, BRING HIM BACK TOO. Maybe Zach is hanging out in Purgatory, if so he can come back and get his ass handed to him again for chuckles.

Heh, we both broke our spoilerphobe ways for this season. Reading spoilers is sorta a must do to stay sane and keep a grip on some interest at this point. And now I can discuss them with you, YAY!

I'm right there with you, bb. Judging from talks about things it seems like they are going to be dealing with it more thoroughly than his mission to find God last season, though I'm still crossing my fingers and praying that they actually follow through with it. I mean, from the way they are describing things it seems far too epic to pass up, particularly since we know Castiel will be featured more heavily in the second half than he was in the first.

YESYES, CAS/BALTHAZAR NEEDS TO APPEAR MORE OFTEN ON MY SCREEN. AND GABRIEL AND RAPHAEL AND ZACHARIAH, HELL I MISS MARKSHA AS LUCIFER AND I WOULDN'T MIND SEEING AT LEAST A GLIMSPE OF HIM TOO. CAN'T THEY JUST HAVE AN ANGEL SPIN-OFF WITH THEM ALREADY?

YAY! \O/ I knew I would have to considering the disappointment I've been having (and that's saying something, coming into the season with low expectations anyway) and I just don't want to continue that streak anymore. I need to know what's gonna happen so I don't continually keysmash in rage or whatever after an episode, thus losing some hours of sleep while ranting/raving with people. lol
