AT A BOOK SIGNING SHE WAS DOING HERE TONIGHT IN SACRAMENTO AT A BORDERS WHERE MY SISTER WORKS AT.

SHE READ FROM HER NEW BOOK, ANSWERED QUESTIONS ABOUT ANYTHING, I CHATTED WITH HER WHEN SHE WAS SIGNING THE BOOK. I GUSHED AT HER AND GEEKED OUT ABOUT VARIOUS THINGS LIKE BUFFY AND HER INDEPENDENT FILMS AND ABOUT JAMERS MARSTERS KISSING GUYS AND HOW SHE WAS ON SUPERNATURAL PLAYING A VAMPIRE AFTER BEING A WITCH ON BTVS, AND WE HUGGED AND I GOT A PICTURE OF US TOGETHER FROM MY CRAPPY CAMERAPHONE.

I WAS SO NERVOUS I WAS SHAKING, SHE TOLD ME "AWWW DON'T SHAKE!" AND OFFERED ME CHOCOLATE. :D

MY LIFE YOU GUYS, I CAN'T EVEN.

Apparently shit happened on Supernatural tonight. I'm just gonna reading spoilers and reviews about it, to be honest. I am on a high. AMBER BENSON > EVERYTHING ELSE RIGHT NOW. F'REALS.

SHE REALLY TRULY IS, OMG! She's very personable, like once I started talking to her I couldn't stop rambling about a bunch of things. And she's the sweetest person ever! She listens to you and smiles and talks back, we conversed about her being on SPN and about James Marsters and her singing and it was like, omg. Why can't all autograph signings be like this?

I read your post. Glad I'm not watching, I mean you said it was okay but right now I don't want my squee of the day to be harshed by whatever the fuck happened in the episode. SO LET ME SQUEE WITH MY AMBER BENSON HIGH!

When I went up to her at the table I told her that she had a lovely singing voice and that I loved the song she sang in the BTVS musical episode, especially in the duet with Anthony Stewart Head. Which she gushed over him in particular with that song. <3 I also told her that she should join with Joss and make a musical like Dr. Horrible or something, she laughed and said that would be cool.

AWESOME. Now we have a one-degree-of-RL-separation between us because I met Amber at a book signing in June '09! ;)

I am behind on SPN. Did not see 6x04 last week because I didn't want to watch without my glasses (couldn't find 'em until I got back to Dad's :P). Did not see 6x05 because I haven't seen 6x04 yet (but also because I got home around 9:45 due to a birthday celebration for my grandma).

The thing I'm finding is that these episodes aren't really connected to each other, so you could easily watch 6.05 without having to have seen 6.04, even though from what I'm gathering this week's episode seemed more or less the same kind of deal we've already known. Sam isn't really Sam, there's something else happening with him, the brothers have issues. All the same stuff that hasn't been resolved yet. The only new stuff were the whole vampire dealio and making fun of Twilight bits.

Although it makes for really uneven scattering of the episodes. There's no sense of fluidity, at least from what I'm seeing.

He wasn't, unfortunately. However her illustrator for the book, Sina Grace, accompanied her and was fantastic to talk with. He even took time to draw little sketches with his signature in the book. We talked about Halloween and Sacramento and traveling to San Francisco (which is where they are going this weekend for more book signing) and all of that random stuff, and was just great.

Amber was also talking with little kids too, she's just too precious. ♥

Well, in my weird-wired brain I was all happy for you, then remembering the handful of times that my one friend has managed to get me on the phone with celebs while at conventions (I haven't met anybody in person yet, but I've talked to Francis Capra, Jason Dohring and Alona Tal) which are of course equally squee worthy moments, so between the two I was all perked up, so thank you for sharing! It's nice to know Amber's a total sweetie. Not that I doubted it, really.

Even if the picture isn't that great, the memory of the event will forever be kept in my heart. I know that's corny to say, but it's true. Just getting the chance to talk with her and geek out over stuff (in my normal rambling kind of way) was the best encounter ever. ♥

Some say it's alright, but from what I've heard you don't really miss much of anything if you skipped it entirely. I just read the highlights of what happened and that's all I needed to know.
