I understand that this is just a promotional picture and they're still keeping his look in the show the same anyway, but at the same time I feel like I'm betraying his regular trenchcoat. I'm in the middle of going "how dare they with this fuckery?" because the trenchcoat goddammit!, but also I'm in the leagues with everyone else that Misha looks damn good in black. I mean, think about what he wore at Chicon '09 and apply that to Castiel-esque attire, just minus the waistcoat.

THEY ARE CONFUSING ME WITH THIS, DAMMIT. HOW SHOULD I BE REACTING? EMBRACE AND ENJOY THE PRETTY? WACKY PARALLEL UNIVERSE SPIN-OFFS WITH CASTIEL HAVING AN EVIL!TWIN? BE ALL LULZ OVER IT? FEEL BETRAYED? I CAN'T EVEN, BRAIN IS BROKE NOW.

idk, he always appeared with his trench coat even after being exploded. Maybe Dean convinced him to wear something different for their date. Or he changes to attend a funeral and forgets about the epic trench coat of epicness.

I know, that's what makes all the bloopers so much fun lol.

I'm always very curious about how that happens, the clothes being repaired after being destroyed or after having been exploded. Like, I know it's some angelical kind of thing, but you know. Or God really does fanboy Castiel that much. ;)

I figured the clothes were resurrected because that's what Jimmy was wearing when he agreed to being hosted by Castiel. That and maybe Castiel has a secret stash of that one outfit lol.

That's what I figured to, for any angel inhabiting a human vessel really. Since I thought that as part of their agreement between an angel and their vessel the human would return back to their lives just as they had once left it (if they ever returned that is), which is why many angels don't bother changing out from their vessels clothes or even care for it. And if an angel is mysteriously resurrected, like Castiel for instance, he would be magically be returned to the state he'd been in to ensure that.

I'm rambling now, sorry. lol I tend to think about these things.... ;D
