Will make a proper reaction post later, but I have to say that I loved last night's Caprica. The characters and the drama attached to it, plus I love continuing the growing universe. It's really taking a form of its own, and I like that.

But this post is about Supernatural or, more specifically, the clips which were released for the next episode and my thoughts on them.

With the first clip, I'm just so happy to see Castiel and the boys investigating together. You gotta love Castiel's intense studying of the heart and then not knowing what to do with the blood on his hands, lol. It's the subtly of how Misha plays him people, okay? You can tell he's this otherworldly creature familiarizing himself with our world bit by bit, but still maintaining his innocence (his "I don't understand that reference" line in the last episode was just perfection to this). And of course, I love him schooling the boys about Cupid/Cherubs and it's interesting how it regards them like they're filthy rodents wandering all over the world, lol. Guess they're not exactly Heaven's favorite, as they are like lower class of their angelical society I suppose.

"You mean the flying fat kid in diapers?" "They're not incontinent" "...." LOL Oh Castiel, I love it when you use your huge vocabulary in front of Dean. ♥

"A Cupid has gone rogue!" SUPER SERIOUS CAS IS ALL SERIOUS BUSINESS WHILE DEAN AND SAM'S REACTIONS ARE HILARIOUS AS THEY GO "YEAH SURE WE'LL HUMOR YOU DUDE" LOL! AND SAM GETTING BITCHFACE WHILE GOING "NATURALLY" OMGLOL!

AND THE SECOND CLIP IS EVEN FUNNIER BECAUSE HOLY SHIT I CAN'T EVEN ARTICULATE PROPERLY HAHAHA! NEKKID!CUPID JUST ATTACKS EVERYONE WITH GIDDY HUGS! HUGGING DEAN (FROM BEHIND OF COURSE) AND THEN CASTIEL, LOL HIS FACE OMG! AND THEN SAM TRYING TO ESCAPE BUT HE STILL GETS A HUGE NEKKID BEAR HUG FROM CUPID OMG.

Dean: Is this a fight?! Are we fighting?!
Castiel: This is...their handshake
Dean: I don't like it.
Castiel: No one likes it.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLLLLL!!!!!!!

THIS EPISODE IS GOING TO KILL ME! I mean seriously, it's going to be a combination of huge laughs but also gross and disgusting scenes and I believe, if I read the description right, some kind of angsty Castiel stuff idk. God, I have a feeling this episode is going to be even better than this last week's one.


I just can't wait for this episode to air. :D :D

I have no idea what is going to happen (other than them pigging out food/drink style and possibly getting drunk and revealing stuff idk) but yeah, all these clips and the preview just makes it impossible to not be excited for what's to come.

I'm okay with the pigging out and even the drinking and whatever, I just hope they don't go the sex route with Castiel. I'd like to keep him 100% asexual in canon, pls. Not that I would complain if they were to explore Cas' sexuality with Dean, of course. In fact I would almost certainly rejoice. Fervently. But if they bring in some random woman and have Cas "hunger" for sex enough to sleep with her, it would be so heteronormative and silly, not to mention downplay the sacrifices he's made for Dean/humanity and bypass the point that he certainly has more important things to think about these days (read: the fucking Apocalypse, anyone?) rather than sex. Idk, it seems greatly OOC and it would deteriorate his character a lot, imo, but I can see them doing it in this ep because of Cupid's influence. Please be to keeping him a strange alien thing, Show? Would it be so terrible to have a character who is, for once, completely unconcerned with sex?

But yes, I am excited too. :D Cas is all SRS BSNS and Sam'n'Dean are like "uhhhhh okay" and the fond little look Dean gives him and oh. Showwww. IT NEEDS TO BE NEXT THURSDAY.

HIS FAAAAAACE, I LOVE IT. ESPECIALLY AT THE VERY END WHERE HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S SO CLOSE TO LAUGHING AND HE'S ALL SQUINTY AND ADORABLE. CAS. OH, CAS, NEVER CHANGE EVER.

I completely and utterly agree with your soapbox, bb. :) I don't think that'll be the case in this episode though, but in general I definitely agree that Castiel should remain innocent and pure without the need to "release" himself by randomly hooking up. He might have rebelled against Heaven and is cut off, but he still is an angel and still has his dignity. I love him like this and he should never ever change from this. I love him being so socially awkward and not getting pop culture references and just being totally alien but still managing to cope and deal with other things, bigger things.

I do agree the only exception would be with Dean, obviously, since they have a strong bond and connection with each other and because hello, nearly everyone in fandom wants them to make-out already! ;D But otherwise no.

I LOVE CASTIEL'S FACE IN THESE CLIPS! HE'S ALL SUPER SRS AND THEN HE JUST IS ALL "OMG UNCOMFORTABLE" WITH THE NEKKID!CUPID HUG AND WITH HIM GRUNTING? AND CUPID ACTUALLY BOUNCING HIM??? OMGLOL! THIS IS GONNA BE GOOD.
