THIS FINALE WAS, HOLY SHIT, WHUT?!

PAUL GOT SHOT DEAD. TOPHER SACRIFICED HIMSELF. VICTOR HAD BEEN A SOLDIER IN THE WAR FOR SOME YEARS WHILE SIERRA WAS ALL SAFE AND SOUND WITH THEIR SON. ECHO DID SOMETHING IN THE END WHERE SHE INCORPORATED PAUL'S IMPRINT? I JUST, WHUT?

ALPHA! ALPHA BEING ON THE GOOD TEAM NOW! :D :D :D HOW MUCH DID I LOVE THAT? AND HE RECREATED THE DOLLHOUSE.

I JUST HAVE TO SAY THAT I LOVE DYSTOPIAN FUTURES. I LOVE THEM. I LOVE SEEING THE WORLD ALL FUCKED UP AND HUMANITY TRYING TO REPAIR ITSELF FROM THE DAMAGE WE CAUSED. PLUS, BIG GUNS AND EXPLOSIONS AND AWESOME STUFF WHEE.

JUST, OMG NO TOPHER! D: D: D: D:

AT LEAST AFTER TEN YEARS VICTOR/SIERRA ARE STILL TOGETHER, EVEN WITH SOME COMPLICATIONS IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP. BUT THEY WILL MANAGE FOR THE SAKE OF THEIR LOVE AND THEIR CHILD.

AND THAT ENDING, I AM TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT. ARE THEY REMAINING IN THE DOLLHOUSE? IS ECHO STILL ECHO OR DID SHE LOSE EVERYTHING AND KEPT THE ONE THING SHE NEEDED AND WANTED, BEING THE MEMORY AND IMPRINT OF PAUL INSIDE HER HEAD? IT SEEMED VERY DOLL-LIKE WITH HOW SHE WAS WALKING TO THE SLEEPING CHAMBERS.

WELL. THIS IS A JOSS WHEDON FINALE. I WOULDN'T EXPECT ANYTHING LESS.

I AM GOING TO MISS THIS SHOWWWWW! D: DAMN YOU FOX, JOSS IS GENIUS AND YOU TOOK AWAY THAT GENIUS WHEN YOU DIDN'T TRUST HIS CREATIVE VISION. FUCKERS. *SHAKES FIST*

ANYWAY - CROSSOVER TIME. SUPERNATURAL/DOLLHOUSE WITH THE CROATOAN!VERSE AND THIS FUTURE, Y/Y?

Fantastic episode, and well-fitting with the fantastic Caprica that followed. Great way to do a season finale.

I liked that moment where you think "Oh no, did Crazy Topher kill them all? (sigh of relief) They're waking up!".

Yeah. And I'm okay with them not explaining exactly how he changed. It would have been a little too "As You Know..."

ARE THEY REMAINING IN THE DOLLHOUSE?

They have to stay for about a year to avoid the signal. They discussed this before. I wonder if Echo will leave when the year's up, though.

It certainly was a fantastic finale. It didn't give us all the answers or resolutions that we'd hoped for, but that's asking a lot given the shortened time they had to wrap everything up (as had FOX allowed them to have the back nine episodes we would have had more time to flesh certain things out and give a proper closure).

I never thought that Topher was going to kill them all. I knew straight away that Topher was about the sacrifice himself for the greater good, which made it harder to watch, actually.

And I'm okay with them not explaining exactly how he changed. It would have been a little too "As You Know..."

Actually, I would have preferred that we did get some backstory on how Alpha reformed. I really do want to know and I don't think it would be anything boring or repetitive at all to his character. It would have been interesting, plus I want to see him and Echo being kinda buddy-buddy and fighting alongside each other in this war.

I already know that.

I will also go with yes, Echo will probably leave because she and the others have to rebuild the world, and I'm hoping that somehow Adelle and the others will return now and again and not just leave them alone for that whole year.

Yeah, but with his instability he could have flubbed it or he could have thought the greater good would be the end of self-destroying humans. I'm pretty sure the moment with them on the ground is designed to make the viewer wonder for a split second if there's going to be a happy ending or not. Tension thing. But I didn't really think that would happen.

I'm not saying backstory would be bad, if it was properly fleshed out, which they didn't have time or space to do. I'm glad they didn't spend ten minutes telling without showing. And I'm glad the development was convincing without the full backstory.

I already know that.

Sorry, I didn't read all of everyone else's threads until after I posted.

Would be nice.
