Most felt it was "too happy" and "clean cut" of an ending and it didn't fit into their vision of how the finale should have gone so they're all bitter and disappointed about it. Even still, fans are bitching that the finale ruined everything, particularly with the religious aspect which, if they'd paid attention to the show, it's been there since the beginning. It reminds me a lot of SPN fans who think that the angels/Heaven thing doesn't fit with the mythology even though it had been introduced wayyyy back in S1.

Whatever. I thought the finale was utter perfection and the more I rewatch it the more appreciation I have for RDM and David Eick's vision of the series. ♥
