++ School, while exhausting and tons of hard work, is going great. It's certainly a beneficial program and I'm learning and taking a lot from it. Consumes most of my time though, which was to be expected but I never imagined to feel this tired every single day. Thank God for naps, is all I'm saying. But even with that, hectic schedules are hectic. More about that and the ending of my first "semester" a little later. So yeah, catching up with the fandom stuff which I haven't missed that much, aside from kind of missing some new episodes here and there.

++ Uh, where did [livejournal.com profile] cadence_k disappear to? *sad face*

++ Okay, if I have to hear another person say that Obama is an Islamic terrorist one more time, I'mma gonna cut a bitch. Srsly. This is what happens when ignorance, lack of research and prejudice of bias plague the nation. On a lighter, happier note, Obama was on The Daily Show via satellite, which made me happy. I know we have about like six days left, but can it be election time already, please? I know I'm jumping the gun here, but I'm having really optimistic thoughts about this. So, knocking on wood that all goes well with this election. I want hope and change for the country, I want a new direction, I just want something instead of the same shit we've been dealing with for eight years. So yeah, I think I mirror everyone's anticipation with this. November 4th can't get here quick enough.

++ I will say again to the Twilight trailer: WHY DO YOU NOT SPARKLE, RPATTZ!? SPARKLE DAMMIT, SPARKLE!

++ New Supernatural, and you know why I'm excited aside from the fact that it's a Halloween episode (titled "It's the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester" no less)? Preview clips. This pretty much endorses my SPN flailing. Srsly, the more this season progresses the more I am loving it. ♥

Oh, and the lovely [livejournal.com profile] bobbinrob transcribed and de-spoilered a recent Misha Collins interview over here in case anyone wants to take an unspoiled look. Okay, I've said it before and I'll say it again: how can this man be real, and where can I get my own Misha copy to take home? He is adorable and made of awesome. *squishes him*

You and I share a common annoyance with ignorant people.I hate the fact that other have tried to push up that idea that he's an Islamic terrorist, but that alos says to me that those people know where they stand as far as Election Day is concerned. When it turns to slurs and such it jsut screams LOSER!

*nods* Exactly. I mean, people can have their own views on either candidate on whether they are to vote for one or the other, that's perfectly fine. That's what a presidential election is about. However, to make false accusations and lashing out making calls on the opposing candidate, making slurs based on either his name or his race or religion or whatever, is uncalled for and rude.

I get that it's election time and either side is willing to do whatever to get people to vote for their candidate, but for goodness sakes don't be mixing facts or getting false information and spreading it around like gossip. Some people are too dense and stupid and follow those around them to even look up if this information is true. It's like, "oh, Obama's a Muslim terrorist? BURN HIM AT THE STAKE! HE'LL RUIN AMERICA AND TURN IT INTO A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!!!!11"

These are the kinds of people that shouldn't be voting, or at least should be weeded out for their utter stupidity.

Very true. The folks who take stupid comments like that and further spread it really shouldn't be voting.
